Apparently polar explorer Amundsen really enjoyed slaughtering and eating his sled dogs.

I wouldn't mind selling some of the dogs in my street to a local restaurant.
It would stop them leaving steaming piles of shit in front of my house. While we're at it, let's slaughter their owners as well.

It isn't bad... hardest part is getting over the idea of what you are eating. If somebody hadn't told me what I was eating, I wouldn't have thought anything of it. This was around 18 years ago, so what I remember isn't very sharp.
