what do you mean by magic casting spell worshiping an alter askings make belive gods for fake powers ? or do you mean stuff like implating thoughts into peoples heads creating illions projecting your thought becouse i think thats what magic really is i dont belive in spells or fake gods but i do belive there is power out there they say buhhdas have much power that a buhhda could cure every sickness in the world in the wave of his hand

i wouldnt call it magic some of the things i have witnessed in my life nor would most people talk about them for whatever reason i call them abiltys i know a women that changed the color of her eyes to blue she even effected peoples memorys all my friends that knew her all thought she had always had blue eyes but her pathetic tricks couldnt fool me i remembered i had someone show me my life and all the things i learned in my life and i had the chance to lead a diffrent life but i chose to live this life and in that moment i forgot everything it wasnt untill 2 and a half years later that i even remembered him doing it to me this abilty is called the abilty of knowing fate they talk about it in the books of falun dafa read up little man do a google search on falun dafa you can download all the books free

How the fuck did Falun dafa come up in a thread about magic? By magic, do you mean Magick? As per the Crowleyian definition or magic as in the performance art? Yes to the former, no to the latter. I was initiated into the Golden Dawn of Regardie. After awhile I gravitated to the Eastern mystic traditions. And there I remained. What's the question?

after studying magick for quite some time, these days I only rarely do any. I'm more so on the mystic side these days.
the closest I do to magick would be divination, protective wards, or healing.
Though in the past I have done some pretty crazy shit with magick (which mainly netted me a shitload of bad karma that took years to work off).
My advice to the beginner is to study as much as you can and tread lightly. And always have pure intentions when attempting magick, because bad intentions will come back to bite you in the ass for real.

not to disagree but why is the nature of magic, in the realm of bad karma, or more associated with the morbid dark side, is magic an extension of selfish desire, a disruption of natural order, or the medium that defies logic, is that even possible,
if its illogical its wrong, but yet it still exists, 2+2=5 is illogical, is wrong, but it exists and can be manipulated to be as being right, because there isn't an actual 2, 2 is reference symbol of a concept that embodies that nature, if you were to change the reference of 5 to nature of the concept thats references to the symbol 4, then 2+2=5 is completely logical, and the right answer, wtf am I saying, that all concepts that are logical can be manipulated to appear illogical,
which may explain magic, it may appear illogical, but yet it is logical in nature, but its nature is to make itself appear illogical, so its nature is deception, meaning it seems whimsical and free but yet their is an underlining transference of energy and sacrifice that isn't quite apparent that takes place, its reorganizing logical valid concepts to appear as illogical invalid methods while maintaining its overall integrity in being valid
meaning anything can be manipulated into any fashion, but this is a manipulation and not a creation, which means something had to be manipulated out of its form to compensate for the manipulation of the initial change that took place, meaning if 5 means 4, then the old 5 has to compensate its definition to something else that is different to distinguish itself, it can no longer appear as 5, and if two symbols mean 4 then the whole system has to be adjusted to compensate for this change,
so I guess magic works along side with law of conservation of energy, magic manipulates form through energy, or manipulates the form of energy, to suffice ones motives or desires,the reality is that everything means nothing by the fact that everything is referred to as symbols that associate itself to a certain definition, or least by the perceiver and the arbitrary dogma the perceiver uses to perceive, now I'm going way over my head

My mom used to be into taro cards. One my mom threw the cards on the floor and told me to pick up my card ( i can remember it anymore.. the prince of something). And I picked it up. I was very astonished. I have yet to read more on taro cards, but who knows.. maybe there is something behind them? Or maybe I just got lucky

I do not believe magic is something only certain people can do, i do believe in the "god plane". Everything is connected and watching/listening,to what you do.
The mass conciousness is there and if you talk to it , it will answer through action. I can tell you of one time, where i spoke outloud to the void and spoke my soul to it, lame but thought i was in love. Girl had avoided me for a month , then after this late night talk with the "void", i went home. Half way through the night i woke up to the girl walking into my room. I just really didnt know what to do. She did everything she had always done that let me know it wasnt right or meant to be and the next day she left for good with a kiss goodbye.
Be in touch with your soul and the world around you, talk to it and it will listen , magic.

I perform magic for my cat every day. There it has been lying around in the sun all day, and suddenly I call him and give him a bowl of delicious catfood and every time he's like "OMG! that's just what I wanted! It's a Miracle!"
And thats what magic and miracles are, basically: having access to parts of Reality that seem te defy other people's concept of what reality is like. You don't do anything truly "supernatural", but rather apply higher knowledge.

I do this stuff too, its pretty cool if you ask me, elemental low magick and Kabala High magick, good stuff.
