alright, sounds good.
but to clarify being on my meds while taking shrooms is a good or bad idea? im on celexa. would it be better not to take the meds the night im going to trip?
and lastly to clarify again, can this mentally fuck you up in the long run?

I can't speak about the medication, but your question on whether or not psychedelics can mess you up is yes, they can. I personally can attest to the affects bad trips can cause by increasing your anxiety levels. Anxiety can become a problem, if you let it, during your sober life. It all depends on what you allow yourself to succumb to.
Typically anxiety will occur during your sober life when you begin to associate normal situations to your bad trip experience. It could be something as small as your heart racing during exercise, being alone and feeling insecure, looking at a object and seeing something blurry, or anything else that may bring you back to that experience.
Obviously, any anxious reaction is completely unsupported by the drug, but it can reek havoc on your life if you let it.

Well in my opinion being a fellow OCDer it can help you a lot, but I might like to suggest perhaps a guided first session with an experienced tripper in your scenario. Through the use of psychedelics I've overcome many fears, anxieties, and the likes. I now understand that anxiety, depression, and all the other various conditions I suffered from, are merely emotions. If experiencing emotion isn't a natural occurrence then what would be the point of anything... life at all really? There wouldn't be. There would be no happy or sad, good or bad, just and unjust, holy and unholy, sacred, secular. Emotion is what makes a person hide something from one person while exposing it in its entirety to another. Without emotion one would not be inclined to do so for an inclination too is offset of emotion. I cannot fix your OCD. Neither can a doctor, celexa or mushrooms. Only you can. However mushrooms most certainly if used with the right setting could help open your mind to such possibilities. I would not take your meds if you do chose to trip however.
As for 'fucking you up' in the long run, no it won't. Just most important if you start to freak out or anything just remind yourself that you are hallucinating and/or just freaking out because mushrooms intensify everything. in a few hours it'll all be over and things will be 'normal'. I definitely recommend someone with experience with you your first time someone you trust it'd make it a lot easier for you. Hope my insight was useful to you.

I agree but disagree on a much safer angle.
For me Mushrooms have pointed out my anxieties, other peoples anxieties, skizophrenia, manic depression...all part of the mental high. I only get these harsh realities usually when I'm alone, or tripping with just another friend in the middle of the night. Needless to say out of all my experiences I've dis-respected the consumption or environment in which I went to...or mabye I havn't..mabye I planned it all along; the something to do while stoned and drunk in the middle of the night...We gott'em..I'm ready for anything, always am under the spirits. Let's zoom through the Forest, watch the Tv in Basement listen to music..walk around the mall.
I have done them sober a few times and they were definently easier and more enjoyable trips to handle.
Mushrooms are heavy because they simply don't lie..and that could only be a good thing if you're going to confront them and cure them...dwell on the feelings desirable to you, while sober, high..can't always controll them on a zoom, though; you really never know sometimes what kind of demon you're going to face. This is why setting and your state of mind for that particular day have to be something you love.
You gotta have faith and a logical perspective on yourself and this doomed chaotic world to get passed the broken barrier that is this tradegy..where it seems we've all lost the humanity, and are just confused miserable 9 to 5 come home let the tv and beer be your life. You're already escaping reality today..for the most part.
It's all in the way you perceive everything. Whatever makes sense to you, makes sense to everybody else..because you truly don't know what they are thinking about you..so a little hint..all you can do is have a big smile on your face at all time, especially with a head full of shroom, have a care loving look in the eye..and imagine all the good for that person that you don't know...because they arn't bad, no matter how bad..sure they have probably screwed up and sinned..but thats because they never understood, like you that one time, or her that other..and mabye they havn't learned or figured it out..but that all doesn't matter..because we're all the same...we watch TV, we go to the movies, we obsess are favorite music groups like God...I get Jesus...it's all part of the ride..merley observers..the rich and powerless are the evil, for the most part, because of their selfishness..but I guess there is so many, and they got lucky, they can't care for all..or could they?...oh waiit.I knoow...they havn't got High, they didn't eat their mind, saw God in a different lie..ripped of their best friend, didn't learn.they got away with it..but they still get down, just like us..it seems impossible with all their money..because it's never enough..and when you start beleiving it couldn't get any better it gets worse..but if you didn't see the standards of today, didn't set those goals, or watched your back..then mabye it wouldn't affect you like Richard who never steps foot outside, and if he does, he ignores all people...thinks their all bad, couldn't possibly smile..It's either Hell..or a hellride...you'll zoom in angles, zoom up and down..even go upside down..but ya gotta figure out how to survive and not fall out..just have a little faith in the ones who made it for you..and learn to enjoy it.yeh..then mabye you'll get to that other ride..that one that's beyond..that's the impossible..the thing that should not be, is either funny or scary...it's all up to you..friend. Of course we all have a natural consiounce of logic..for the most part..I find what helps is Marijauna..especially to cope in a messed up technological atom bomb world. If you're honest with yourself and to others then you're the better you. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

well i came to the conclusion that as of right now im not going to take shrooms...im just thinking it would be a disaster on my mind.
things i would be thinking about the entire time:
#1: what if these are poisonous mushrooms? what if the dealer didnt know what he/she was doing...i could die.
#2: did i do something during my trip that i am going to worry about the next day??
#3: is my friend going to be alright? (if we did them together)
and a whole bunch of other things, ill have to wait until my medicine kicks in or until i have more confidence in myself before trying shrooms, i know their powerful and i dont want to be overwhelmed. sucks that i cant experience them now...oh well.

I wouldn't worry about the dealer giving you poisonous mushrooms any more than I would worry about buying poisonous mushrooms from a supermarket...not likely if they're cultivated.

what does cultivating do to a mushroom...im new at this whole thing.
and are their any pics of shrooms that are dried...alls i see is fresh shrooms in the gallery, id be interested to see what someone would get from a dealer.
