NFL Draft.. ohh boy
    #5569936 - 04/29/06 01:42 PM (7 years, 25 days ago)

so everyone knows about mario williams to Houston.. and New Orleans taking Reggie Bush..

heres where teams started fucking up.. really only 2 bad picks IMO.. the Jets with the 4th overall pick.. took an OL in D'Brakashaw Fruguson, IMO a horrible pick, not because hes not great.. but because the Jets have bigger problems..

San Fran took Vernon Davis TE, GREAT pick.. AJ Hawk is a packer.. GREAT pick, Michale Huff goes to Oakland..

THEN buffalo.. with leinhart still on the board takes, Daunte Whitner, S from OSU.. bad pick IMO.. Detriot takes ernie sims. OLB.. good fit again.. and Matt Leinhart ends up in Arizona.. there could not be a better place for Leinhart

so far i think Tenessee is having the best draft.. well maybe either them or New England

Tenessee grabbing both Vince Young and LenDale White.. both potential top 10 guys

New England grabbing.. Lawerence Marooney, and WR Chad Jackson.. again 2 first round top 20 guys

Houstons gonna suck again and so is Dallas
I cant believe we didnt take Vince and trade Carr to somebody that needs a shitty fall down QB :mad2:

how did dallas suck last year.. we had several heartbreak games and were 1 win from the playoffs.. we lost by like.. missed field goals most games.. and aquired the most accurate kicker in the game.. mike vanderjagt.. not only did we grab an amazing kicker.. we got questionably the best WR in the game.. TO.. now we have 2 amazing TE's.. and great, solid D.. IMO the only position i think we SHOULD draft.. round 3.. OL.. round 4.. QB/ S.. round 5.. OL.. and so on

Some early favorite Drafts:

Miami: Jason Allen S Tenn. and Derek Hagan WR Arizona St.
New England: Lawerence Marooney RB Minn, Chad Jackson WR Flor. and Dave Thomas TE Texas
Detriot: Ernie Sims LB FSU, Daniel Bullock S Neb, and Brain Calhoun RB Wisconsin
Green Bay: AJ Hawk, Abdul Hodge. 2 linebackers, Greg Jennings WR WMU, Center from Louisville, and Dyan Coolidge OT Boise State
Minnesota: Chad Greenway OLB Iowa, Cedric Griffin S Texas, Ryan Cook Center New Mexico, Tarvarius Jackson QB Alabama

Tennessee: Vince Young and LenDale White
Denver: Jay Cutler QB Vand. and Tony Scheffler TE WMU
Arizona: Matt Leinhart QB USC, Duece Lutui OG USC, and Lenard Pope TE Georgia

Overall i think, suprisingly.. as long as they get some OL help tomorrow. Arizona is going to be tough to beat.. they have a monster TE, a franchise QB.. Larry Fitzgerald and Bouldin at WR, and Edergin James at RB.. an untouchable Offense

parcels took fasano because people think hes going to be the next bavaro.. wtf were the giants thinking taking Mathias Kiwanuka, the giants have 3 great DE's..bad pick i think. although i hear whispers of him playing OLB. i thought moss was a good value and need pick for the giants, enables them to spread the field alot better. shockey is going to have a huge season.

actually the reason Jerry Jones, not Parcells, took Fasono, if u really wanna know is because they plan to run a 2 TE, 2 WR, 1 RB formation most of the season (3 downs) since they have TO and Terry Glenn..

yea there doing that because fasano is supposed to be the next bavaro, the best all around tight end to dawn pads. i think the cowboys moved up to the 2nd best team in the east now with the draft i think they did well. bobby Carpenter was picked obviously because tuna coached his father and he was a heck of a player with great character...bobby carp should be great i wish he fell to the giants.

Don't forget the Broncos traded for Javon Walker too.  Pretty good move in my book.  Now we need to trade Ashley Lelie for a 3rd rounder or something.  Fucking guy is a joke.

see personally i think javon walker is a piece of shit.. you dont ever go to a GM and say "trade me or i refuse to play for this franchise".. that and hes just a complete.. and also i know ashley lelie is unhappy in denver, but i think hes a great reciever.

Sounds like a good plan to me
Think about it
The long threat is with TO
short passes also with TO because hes so physical
Ive allways liked Parcells so we will see
I see Dallas stomping ass this year
I see Houston doing nothing again
Fuckkin Texans should have gotten Vince and traded Carr
this shit hurts my soul

the bills were downright atrocious this year

they more than likely could have gotten whitener at 26

and at 26 they took james mcgargo, projected as a late third :flowstone:

nah, youbouty was a pretty solid pick up in the third round

'specially considering he was projected late first, early second

i love kamerion wimbley, but him going thirteenth, and before bunkley was whacko

abdul hodge went all the way to the third, and i'd say he's one of the most solid 'backers of all this year
greenway on the otherhand was one of the most overrated
slow and finesse, not a lethal combo

i've seen wimbley his whole career at FSU
and i love him, just think he should have been a second rounder

if cleveland wanted a "hybrid" [guess 'tweener isn't politically correct or some shit :smirk:], they should have taken manny lawson, he's faster and more athletic

I must say, I am very happy with GB's draft. Got a couple of damn fine Big-10 LB's, got rid of a locker room cancer, a decent Big-10 RB, and a WR that I doubt will ever start.

now that im reading more about Kiwanuka the morei like this pick by the g men. he can play olb, dt and de. the giants pass rush is just going to blow people out of the water this year. look for the giants to have the best D# in the league.. people who dont watch the giants dont know about justin tuck who is freakin great hes going to be a hell of a player at de/olb for a long time. the kid runs a 4.49. i cant wait for this year. the jints are going deeeeeep.

he could never play dtack, ever

but storm: the pack had a pretty solid draft, y'all probably could have gotten jennings in the third, but abdul hodge is a major steal
spitz was a nice pickup
and willy blackmon is very underrated, look for good things

why is that ernie accorsi already said that hes going to beef up and gain weight and strength. listed at 256 lbs, but hes 6'6 265 hell be around 275-285 when the season starts. he would only play dt on passing downs anyways its not like we're looking for him to stuff the run at dt.
