I think you're right, superbling. I'd be surprised to find any morels after tomorrow. I just checked 4 patches within walking distance of my house. Came up with 8 morels, so roughly 2 per patch... Which is crap because I was averaging around 20 per patch or more. I noticed something weird today though. I only found what I call blonde/yellow/white morels. No greys or blacks, which I typically find the most of. The taxonomy for Morchella seems ambiguous to me, so I'm not going to try to guess true species names.

Anyway, the season was fun while it lasted =\
