i agree with the fact that this movie has been used to stir fear and contains subliminal messages that attempt to steer the uncertain viewer back to
leading a faithful life. this is wrong. christianity nor any religion for that matter should use such tactics to try and propogate their faith. this argument aside, i think it was a good movie.

i mean what could satan possibly hope to gain through possession?
if he is such a great deciver, then why would he knowingly assault unassuming victims and claim power over them, only causing himself to be hated even more? this doesnt make any sense.

stir fear? maybe, maybe not... make a movie that will earn them lots of $$$? definently. they're (probably) more interested in making more cash then trying to scare people back to christianity... it's all about money. nothing more, nothing less. but thats just my opinion though, and maybe it should just be discarded considering i never seen the movie nor read that article. maybe theres something more im missing.
but them = love money? yeap.

Christianity sells around here....it's still the major religion....best money grubbing religion too...but uh, there are different movies out there too, can't say it's just christianity....it just reflects our society...religion, violence, and sex....weeeeeeeee

The sad thing is, I was reading some of that web site and their religion sounds a whole lot more rational than christianity and catholocism and most of the popular religions. They make a lot of good points. Still some of the stuff is a little off the wall as well. It's probably one of the closest to my personal beliefs I've found so far. I would definitely feel weird calling myself a satanist though

i'm a little wary as to why they went out of the way to conform to the "satanic" image though, you know, dark gothic looking stuff.... how is that spiritual?
(well i only looked at the main link, black background, red text) this Satan is supposed to be a bringer of light and salvation and the true God? Well I dunno why did you dress it up in the cliched "evil" and gothy way? Why use 666 in the link? Political commentary? I get how they are saying that they are the spiritual religion in a world of blasphemies against God, so they are using dualism to conform to what people typically think of as Evil since Good in this world is mainly the real Evil in this world.... but it still makes me skeptical.

I have a copy of "The Satanic Bible" by Anton Levey. He has many valid points and some that are a little off the wall.
No worse than any of the "Good Christians" I know.
I also have a copy of "Necronomicon"

Dig this ShroomDoom... Depending on a person's nature the teachings are received accordingly. Evil at heart...?? You see the evil. Pure of heart...?? You definitely see the game and start to understand the peculiar orientation of the information that makes up the reality myth. Once you find out where they've been keeping the rest and how to get there...?? You know its safe because people of no faith cannot access it. At least not all of it. Once they grow into this understanding its necessary to flip the last 180. Full circle. Perfect. Real religion trusting nature to do its job.

I watched that movie, and it screamed church propoganda at me. So did the Exorcists - Beginning. My girlfriend does not agree with me, and sometimes I think its just me trying to rebel against church/government...but seriously the movie's plot was about as convincing as a porno.

On another note....There have been a few satanist posts here recently, I do not compltely understand it, but it seems almost as crazy as christianity. Like one cannot survive without the other, but they are both fake. Kinda like our 2 party system in America.
