Rules
1.) Any one who is a Shroomerite, and has been registered for longer than one year, is eligible for the Shroomery Olympics. [Exceptions may be made in cases where a region or country is in need of more teammates to balance things out.]
2.) Like the Olympics, Shroomerites will be divided by the regions and/or countries from which they reside. For example, the Americans will be divided into regions: Northerners, Westerners, Easterners and Southerners.
Since there seems to be quite the number of Canadians on this site, all Canadians may form one team together, to represent Canada.
Since there is also quite a number of Europeans on this site, they too may team up together, to represent Europe.
3.) The location for which the Shroomery Olympics shall be held, will be in Arcadia, The Shroomery.
4.) The cyber-sporting events in which the regions and countries shall compete in, will be the wide range of arcade games that are available on this e-land. To ensure broad fairness in all areas of competition, all arcade games will be competed in.
5.) To ensure that the Shroomery Olympics are not overloaded, and remain manageable, there will be a beginning date for all e-athletes from all regions and countries of the world to enter, and a cut-off date.
If you wish to enter, simply enter the nation and region that you reside in, or of which region or country you consider yourself to be of.
6.) A neutral, objective individual will have to be nominated to keep record of the wins and losses, and update them in this [or perhaps in a stickied score thread]. Fortunately, the Arcade already does this, but only lists so many historical scores at once. So, it is quite easy to keep track of Olympic scores.
Like the Olympics, there will be E-Gold medals awarded: Gold, Silver and Bronze.
Whichever country or region takes home the most Gold medals, shall be the victor!
Whaddya say, folks? Shall we have a Shroomery Olympics?
