Actually I really cross your lines, being book smart and street smart as well as intensely inner spiritual but do not go to church, completely open minded, I believe that most people are insane, or at least the sane ones use insane reasons to make them do the normal things in life.

Sanity and Insanity make so sense to me. I use the words occasionally, but they fail to have real meaning in relation to myself and others.
For example, society has listed me as "crazy" before, but it's just me. As long as I can live my life with quality, harm no other, and be happy then who cares?

I'm a bit of both sides;
- first side; very calm; reading lots of books (college), the normal side.
- other side; I often talk to myself; get really freaky when I'm not around other people (I don't wanna go to the nuthouse  ); sometimes paranoid, very emotional.
Most people would define themselves as "crazy" or "happily mad"; but I never seem to get that. Most people that say that are like the most normal people I've ever met.
I wouldn't go so far as calling myself crazy; but I'm definately a lot different than most people. And that has a good and a bad side.
But hey, as long as I'm having fun in life, that doesn't bother me at all. The only thing I would never want is a regular, boring, normal life
