I'm sure a lot of people know what I mean.
You just don't feel like doing anything sometimes, you just feel like shit.
There is no clear reason for it, so somehow you try and find things to feel shit about. 
I didn't notice I was suffering from the signs of depression today, but I was reading Annie's thread. And it seems that I'm depressed today.
It was even hard to come up with the efford of even posting this thread.
I feel so horrible down and tired, maybe the reason why I feel so bad is because I'm tired.. 
Anybody else feeling like crap today?

well you can make your body feel better. that's a step. Drink water like crazy today, because most everyone's dehydrated, and that makes you feel sluggish and tired and down. Go for a walk, run, do pushups, or whatever to exercise. That will get your mind and body chemistry moving so you will be out of it faster.

I thought today would be nice, but as soon as i stepped outside a thunderstorm began to come through. It's beginning to bring me down.

Knowing the fact that I am depressed made me a bit happier again.
But I still feel like shit, I wonder why.
Must be chemical, can anyone recommend me some happy foods?
Or other things? I think I'm going to sit around with my family today and sing childrens songs (I have a 2 year old daughter so it's not as weird as it might sound).

Well I sneezed so hard this morning that I must've burst a blood vessel and ended up spitting out a load of blood.
I went to the doctors on Monday and was told keep an eye on a large, irregular mole on my collarbone.
I had a dream last night in which I was looking at Heather Graham in just her underwear and my wife was punching me for doing so, even though I was trying to explain saying "but they're such a great pair of titties". She also punched me when I told her about the dream.
We're down to half the staff at work we should have and have tonnes of deadlines to meet due to the Easter weekend - the next two days are going to be a long haul.
And despite all this I'm feeling fairly chipper.
My advice - get some lovin', get some sleep, treat yourself to an album you've always wanted to buy and smile, cause things aren't really that bad.

 cheer up love no need to be down a way to make yourself feel a little better s get up and go for a walk or something that always makes me feel better... If there is anything I can do let me know....

I have pnemonia (however it spelled), the flu, and i feel like crap.
I had to take off a week of work, and when i get back all this weeks work i still have to do, i have no clu how im ganna do it all. No one is ganna do it for me, and all my boss is saying is, "oh this is not good, you can't miss work." Well sorry i am goiong to, my boss is a idiot.
The bills sitting next to me are calling my name to get wrote up and sent out.
I have felt weird latley, like my life sucks and i just wanna drop everything i am doing and move far far away because im sure anywhere else in the world has to be better. Why can i just get a job in a head shop somewhere, and chill.
Im with you man, I also felt like venting my depression.

Surprisingly, I feel alright today. Tomorrow I get to have x-rays and an MRI done for my back, then I get to deal with insurance adjusters! Ask tomorrow and I'm sure I'll have a different answer.

There is so much to be thankful for, that there just isn't time to be depressed! If you are feeling down, give yourself a break. Go on a vacation or relax. Rejuvinate your body, and drink lots of water and eat lots of fruit- you know, the stuff that's actually good for your body

I feel like shit... but that's because I'm sick 
I haven't been too happy latley but I'm definitely not depressed. I hope you're feeling better soon, if things are looking down then that usually means they're going to go back up.

Eh, I hate the sun. It drives me nuts. Spring isn't bad though, but that means it's almost summer and that is bad. Plus, winter is over and now I won't see any snow for many months

I would love to but I couldnt move that far away from my family. Plus i don't think I could move somewhere where I do not know anyone.
It's not that bad. I just don't go outside in the summer unless I have to.

I'm flattered that you think I'm Dutch - but my lineage is actually French on one side, Irish on the other, oh and my wife is Maltese.
I'm based in London and I copy chase (basically nag lazy companies to send the bloody artwork) adverts for a publication (that keeps it vague, trying to be anonymous here) - have done tonnes of jobs, including teaching English & Media studies, working in creative marketing (an oxymoron, never, never again will I work for the devil), on building sites as an electrician's mate, with the riding for the disabled association and many more.
I'm slumming it at the moment as the money's good and life is the pursuit of leisure - that said I've an eye on a new career at the moment.

i feel ya fliquid, i get that too, and i realized that what works best, for me at least, is just to tell myself that its just a phase i'm in and that soon enough i'll be feeling good again. Just ride the depression like you would ride a shroom trip, while keeping hope for things to get better.
