I don't remember this, but I've been told by my parents. When I was very young, probably 2-3 years, I had a severe asthma attack. My older sister, 14 at the time, was the only one home with me. She thought I was just playing around. My mom came home and freaked out and brought me to the hospital. They told me that I couldn't breathe at all and it looked like my eyes were going to explode. That's all I can remember. Well, I used to have super bad nightmares and wake up screaming really loud...I was near death my my dreams. Does that count?

I used to be an iron worker ans a 7" grinder bound in some steel and kicked back. At first I thought it was the handle that hit me and I wasn't wearing all the proper safety gear. I put my hand to my mouth to say "fuckin ouch!" and when I pulled it away again again half of my lip fell away from my face as it stuck to my hand with all the blood. I figured at that point I should go see the forman. Put my hand back on my mouth and walked off to find him. We I did I said" I think I need some help" and he was like "yeah, ok". You should have seem his eyes when I pulled my hand away. I started to feel around with my tounge and could not feel ANY of my teeth. SO I'm making the paramedics ggo and look for them at the scene. Dumb asses didn't nthink to look in my mouth first and it turned out that it was just because my whole face was numb. From under my chin up my lower lip was bisected by a whiote line that was my jaw bone. a tooth on the upper was caught in the rotation on the wheel too and was pointing straight out at the top of my gumms. Luckilyt I happen to go to the hospital where one of the best plistic in town was just finishing a surgury and decided to do mine stitches. Well, not that it made much difference.

When I was an infant I got some weird form of pneumonia and stopped breathing a number of times. Apparently I was stopping breathing and turning blue in the car on the way to the hospital. I have been really close to being hit by a train, really close to getting in bad car crashes, had some sketchy experiences with drugs, split my head open as a baby, almost drowned in a pool, almost drowned surfing, been in motorcycle accidents. I was born on Friday the 13th, but I seem to be fairly lucky.

uhm, about 8 years ago I was into DXM (judge all you want) and this was the first time I had taken powder. A bit too much, I guess. I was walking with some friends and I knew I had to puke so I put my arm out to lean against the wall. the only thing was I was in the middle of the and ended up falling on the sidewalk. Next thing I remember is looking down (on myself puking!) I herd the sober people I was with say something about me dieing puking and laying on my back. Next thing I knew I herd Man you're one heavy mother fucker as I snapped back into my body as I was being picked up...
I haven't done DXM in many years and haven't had any urge too, but this is by far my closest experience with death. I have to say at the time it wasn't too scary.

Calico Kahlia come tell me the news
Calamity's waiting for a way to get to her
Rosy red and electric blue
I bought you a paddle for your paper canoe
Say you'll come back when you can
Whenever your airplane happens to land
Maybe I'll be back here too
It all depends on what's with you
