Amanita Muscaria is completely 100% legal to have, to eat, to sell, etc - at least in the United States of America.

32oz??? Wow. Can you tell me a little bit about your experience with ingesting them?
BTW - there aren't, to my knowledge, many pine trees at all in Florida but I'll have to look into that.

Heh, well its certainly what I'd class as delerium! Not my personal favourite (I LOVE Psilocybe semilanceata!) although I can see why some people would like them. I picked them for friends who enjoy them and made a fancy christmas potpourri arrangement as well out of some. Still have many ounces left, they just grow in such abundance over here!

Hey Enter, this is a good discription of the effects of small doses. A. muscaria
Here a discription of my experiences:
I first feel the effects at 1gm/30lbs of body weight. I ussually stay in that to 1gm/20lbs range. I get some nausea and sweating for about an hour. After that it is a pleasant body feeling. They are mildly analgesic mood enhancer at this dosage. They seem to increase stamina slightly.
The effects last from four hours to 2 days. Sometimes there is a little problem focusing vision. Sometime there is a mild incoordination, it is not like what I experience when drinking it is more like I'm not paying attention and I bump into something that normally I would not.
The only really odd sensation I've had after eating muscaria is the feeling that I'm spinning very quickly. There is no dizziness associated with this, and this is after the initial nausea has worn off.
Dried to remove the Ibotenic acid I did not feel any nausea. I ussually just air dry them and put up with a little nausea.
I ate 1gm/15lbs of body weight twice. Both times I puked and was tired and then went to sleep. Beyond that nothing.
I think it is better to eat them when the weather is cold.
I think you can probably find them in Florida. If you see boletes or other amanitas fruiting expand the area you are searching. Make sure of of your ID, there are several mushrooms that look at first very much like muscaria.

I just found this out this morning and went for a long drive today but found no shrooms. Not-a-one.
There are pines but hardly any in the city. You have to drive a ways to find them I would imagine. We should go hunting together and save some time and gas money.

They grow in Florida between November and February although I have never, ever, ever seen one in Florida.
I think the main problem is the fact that there's no land. It's all developed with 50 story condos. Go figure.
