The above is an extract from my fictional novel, "The random postings of Edame".
In the beginning was the word. And man could not handle the word, and the hearing of the word, and he asked God to take away his ears so that he might live in peace without having to hear words which might upset his equinamity or corrupt the unblemished purity of his conscience.
And God, hearing this desperate plea from His creation, wrinkled His mighty brow for a moment and then leaned down toward man, beckoning that he should come close so as to hear all that was about to be revealed to him.
"Fuck you," He whispered, and frowned upon the pathetic supplicant before retreating to His heavens.

He never "gets on the bad side of the community", only the bad side of those with banning power, which sure as hell isn't the majority.

Now this, is bullshit.
Swami's ban was controversial enough as it is with the faculty and unclear decision making behind that - even to the point where faculty members admitted that they should've rethought their positioning; yet, Swami gets banned again for voicing his viewpoint on that incident?
Let's make it clear:
IS he not allowed to point out the fallacies in the personal accusations that has been made towards him?
Or is he only allowed to do so, according to, say, Shirleyknott's perception of politeness?
Just saying "Oh please just drop it" is an emotional, opinionated, subjective statement with NO factual reasoning behind it.
List the precise reasons, rules and parameters as formed by Shroomery-faculty, behind saying: "Just drop it".
Or be honest and make it clear that you needed to save face, and didn't want Swami to expose the mediocrity and childishness of politics behind the green names.

...and how is Swami anymore "on the bad side of the borg" than anyone else? Myself included...I see just as many (if not more) supporters of Swami in these threads then those against him.

I didn't really give a shit about him getting banned originally, b/c I don't requent PAL enough to make a accurate view, but shouldn't the man be allowed to speak on how he feels about his banning?
He wasn't being obscene.
He was using logic and addressing all the mods statements.
He offended no one other than the "big man" who thought he should be banned.
Get off your damn high horses.

1. He wasn't creating drama. He was addressing how he felt. If you guys would have left this thread along and let it run it's course and fall off the first page, it never would have been dramatic.
