Circumcision is a cultural (mostly religious, if not all) practice. And there are reports on the extra sensitivity from being uncircumcioed, along with the need to clean it more often. It makes no difference, and if you think its mutilation, then you probably cant handle much culture shock, or are a hypocrite.
I dont know of too many negatives to circumcision, rather then hacked jobs while cutting.

I feel ill thinking about it 
Personally I did not have it done to me but i read some folks online who even went as far as having a foreskin reconstructed. I think that a significant portion of men opt for voluntary penis surgery is the clearest possible signal its a mutilation.

And what culture is that?
If you're part of a Tribe its only natural to have a Rite of Passage and in the situation being poisoned with Eboka or Datura, flogged to near fainting, starved, being hoisted up by steel hooks through your flesh is all acceptible to me, personally, in the passing of adolescence to adulthood.
Many kids from destroyed Tribes in Africa and around the world feel a gaping hole within themselves for being robbed of their adulthood ritual. They take a college break to go back to the countryside and voluntarily undergo "ritualistic violent crime" or how you'll call it. We city-dwellers in the West however are deprived of a genuine culture. Do you feel to be One Tribe with the folks who pass in the street?
Hell no, I bet half of us here aren't in the habit of tossing homeless people a coin, will spew fire and brimstone over people who are on welfare and almost all have very defined personal rules whom they should associate with or oppose of. Only natural in any mass-culture living in communities over 50-or-so people.
What culture? 
I equate child circumcision to child abuse.
We all know kids tend to accumulate an unhygienic buildup of dirt under their fingernails.. Why not remove them and cauterize the rims so they wont grow back?
We have no culture worth mutilating for. Culturally there is little solidarity with the weak, looking wealthy (and white) will get you instant respect (walk the streets in a 3-piece suit for a week.. a truely bad trip I promise) and greed reigns supreme.
I bet many here experience far more "cultural unity" and get the Tribal solidarity feeling with the Shroomery Tribe then their so-called culture, and if they had to choose would rather take a punch for *our* community then for the dudes in congress, the european commission or whatever fills your newspaper and evening news.
Many here are on dialup and actively spend $$ for every single minute they're on our boards. I have yet to see the double-digit populace percentage that willingly pays the part of taxes that takes care of the financial needs of our presidents and prime ministers.
Circumcision should be an adult's (or adolescent's) conscious choice and small children shouldn't be cut up for a culture that isn't.

I'm uncircumcized. I have seen no convincing arguments that being circumcized is in any way beneficial or something to desire.

kinda embarassing, but i didnt really know what circumcision was until i was like 19...and my piercer pointed out my circumcision scar when i got my frenum pierced recently.
