This halloween, myself and about 6 friends are gonna be tripping, and 2 of them are first timers, and they're gonna eat 4 grams of VERY potent shrooms (apparently they're like 91% psilocybin, if that's possible - please verify this). They think mushrooms are a way of getting fucked up and seeing shit that isn't there, not realizing their 'mindfuck'. I can't seem to convince them that they're making a mistake. One of them has no idea what psychedellics are about and gets fucked off of pot when it does shit to others. I know he's gonna freak out and call 911 or something stupid and ruin everyone's trip. Anyone else ever trip with huge n00bies and have it ruin your evening? I think I might branch off from all my friends and trip on my own/with a select few of them.

they're not 91 percent psilocybin. even 20 mgs of psilocybin is a big dose. you'd be talking around 3500 mgs in 4 grams... nah.
As for those friends, explain to them about SETTING. Halloween night isn't the best time for a newbie to go crazy with the dosage.

Well 90% is water (Cubensis). So ummmmm no. That's a ludicrous statement.
It sounds like a good idea to advise them not to consume them if that's the way they will act from your intuition. Maybe consider taking them on your own or with the select few as you said.

There is no such fungi as a shroom that is 91% psilocybin. Quite frankly I'm glad.

Sort of off topic then, but what approximately is the amount of psilocin and psilocybin (isn't psilocybin just converted to psilocin when it enters the body anyway, or do I have it backwards) per say 1 gram of shrooms? Are we talking like 2%? What else is in shrooms aside from these two chemicals?

we're talking about fractions of percentages in most cases.
these two chemicals are what's mostly responsible for the effects. there is also baeocystin and norbaeocystin, but these aren't as important.
mushrooms are mostly just fungal tissue.

For fun? I dont think watching out and worrying for these dumb noobs sounds like fun.
Something to do? Dont you have some friends that know how to trip and that you can relax or have some real fun with?
Just going along with the group? I think the negatives weigh more than the benefits of having this group together.

Psilocin is the Class A drug. Psilocybin is an ester of psilocin. So naturally the two are classed as the same under the law. It's the Psilocybin which is converted into Psilocin within an hour after ingestion. Psilocin is the higher active chemical of which actually affects the brain.
Psilocybin mimics some neurotransmitters, this mimicing results in Psilocybin molecules fitting in receptors within the brain. Resulting in over-stimulation, eg trips.
LSD Works in quite a similair way.

yeah that's what i'm kind of hoping... i know its evil, but they won't listen to me and i actually look forward to them freaking out. anyway i'm not gonna spend too much time with them.

I say if you want to watch them freak out. Then dont dose at the same time as them so if anything goes bad you can ditch them with no worries...you never know when they would do something stupid. Thats what I would do but its up to you do what you want.

I know the same type of people. They're the types of kids who'll act drunk when everybody else is drunk just to fit in. In general, I don't like kids like that very much.
If it's Halloween I'd suggest letting them do whatever the hell they want. Just don't let them ruin the trip for you. In my experience there are certain friends of mine that I love to trip with. For some reason everything just seems to click when we're together. If you have some friends like that then hang out with them and ditch the nOObs. But no matter what, have fun.

Already told them they're crazy and don't know what they're getting themselves into, but I know it won't affect them. I know asking them to do this would be hardly any different
And they're guys... They'll be chicks there but non of them tripping (gonna be annoying probably).
The problem is most of my friends don't treat mushrooms as I do, and will probably want to do something stupid like go to a party. I also have a much lower resistance to them so will be much more tripped out than them with an eighth (haven't done this much before). I only weight 140 pounds. I think I may lower my dose just so I can have some witts about me and not have to worry about my friends killing themselves.

Girls can ruin a trip... maybe something about sexual tension. Plus anyone who is sober can drastically influence your trip. Their brain is moving in totally different wavelengths.
And yes, the mountains are the place to be. Run, Jump, and definitely Howl. I always pick a night with lots of stars. Or a night with some sort of significance i.e. Harvest moon, equinox, aurora borealis, meteor showers. Small insignificances can be significant.
