I was going to say fma but you already watched that. Did you see both of the movies and brotherhood? There not as good but still worth watching. I think I'm going to watch the first fma show and maybe some of the other ones you posted.

It's obviously very hard for me to watch all suggestions at once but i shall try my hardest to get round them when i can  I have seen some suggestions (code geass, avatar, high school of the dead) i just forgot to mention alot of anime :P Currently gonna check out cowboy bebop and then Samurai Champloo... Since everyone seems to agree thats good 
More suggestions are welcome, i'll let you know what i think of cowboy bebop when i get a few more episodes in

It's hard to not love Cowboy Bebop, it's great. If High School of the Dead is the one with zombies I'm thinking about, I couldn't make it past the first episode.

I think i got to the fifth episode, it's quite perverted. Can't really complain was pretty boring though.

I know, this one was more so than most. I think about the 4th or 5th episode it could be classed as ecchi (i think thats how you spell it).

I'm current on episode 12 or so of Samurai Champloo, it's shapnig up to be pretty amazing I love the osundtrack too, Nujabes and that circle of beat producers have always been a favourate of mine.
It's so nice to watch an anime with a hint of hip-hop intergrated into, you're right this is looking to be one of my favourate animes

It is a shame, i do find that short animes a more enjoyable when you finish them. Although i always get that empty feeling in the end

It really wont take long to finish Samurai Champloo. When you're done I really must encourage you to check this one out...
Sometimes I swear people just avoid some animes simply because of a weird name but Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is hands down the most epic anime I've ever seen and the characters are all so unique and the storyline is just superb and beyond out of this world.
Another good one to check out is the original Mobile Suit: Gundam Wing which mostly revolves around the main character Heero who is a complete badass.
This is an old one but a lot of people have missed out on this gem. Here's an AMV for this one too that wont spoil a whole lot.

I'll be sure to check it out when i can, i'm currently watching at a slow pace, a couple of episodes before i go sleep.
I'll probably be watching the full second season of game of thrones soon too but i will refer back to here when i'm ready to take upon another anime
Prehaps we should have an anime dedicated thread?

It is a shame, he set a very high par for that kind of music, me and friend like to simply call it "real music". It's always so beautiful, there are many other similar artists living up to his standard.
