when somebody makes the choice to enter a field of work where it is quite likely that they will be shot and killed, i can't feel bad for them. they certainly knew what they were getting into

I'm in one of the most dangerous fields (firefighter paramedic) in the country and I don't believe I deserve to die.

There is a big difference between 'deserving' and 'expecting'. Many times people use the former when they mean the latter.

The DEA ruins peoples lives, and they wouldn't have been ruined other wise if the law didn't bring them in for doing something they say is bad. If I dwell on how that happens to people, good people I become really angry, I wish to see the day when all of that will go away.

Yes, I feel bad when any person dies, short of serial killers, and even then I still feel bad for them. Who knows why they do what they do, maybe to some of them it's the right thing to do, for all we know he might think hes doing a great job and legitimately keeping people safe. I'm not going to judge someone for where they stand on a topic, life takes us all different places.
Joy in death is a sad prospect in my opinion, DEA agent or not, they're still human.

Fuck the DEA, the "good" DEA people know exactly what they are doing, they like to have high paying jobs with federal benefits for themselves, and have to ruin peoples lives to get paid. There are no good DEA people, they are all scum in my book.

I would say I consider it sad when dies before their time, even if it was someone I probably wouldn't have liked very much, but it happens all the time so I can't say it typically affects me very much when I didn't know the person. I don't think anyone's death should be celebrated though.

um, the difference is that the DEA's sole purpose is to lock up people like you and me. Drug users are demonized by the DEA so the DEA can continue to lock innocent people up. If you can't even realize that much you are on the wrong forum buddy.

Their stated goal is to get rid of drugs and narcotics that some people think is ruining the lives of loads of people... It may be a twisted and untrue look, but, people go through shit that will make them believe things regardless of the facts. And on top of that, I hate the government more for instituting the DEA than the DEA officers for just doing their job
I don't know, I just kind of think its sick to be happy with someone dying.
