Cheers, Thinker!
I try to make them somewhere in the middle so peoples don't have to scroll ten yards to see them. I should start uploading bigger ones on MO though, I am in the habbit of making them either 1200x800 or ??x800 for the vertical shots, and then uploading to here, deviantart, MO, or wherever else.
I think Tricholompsis might be on track actually. Going to look at ID's for the missing ones tomorrow. I think TimmiT ruined my fun and ID'd them all for me though.
I am confident in Tricholomopsis, that contrasting line at the apex of the stem is characteristic. not confident on the species name but I think the only other option is rutilans and it doesn't look like what i call T. rutilans and i dont see pine needles

peace and love bloodworm
There is an unnamed species on Hiddenforest.co.nz which looks quite close.
These shots and mushrooms are incredible! The macro shots of the beefsteak polypore are just wonderful. Great call, TimmiT on the Lacrymaria. The mottled gills had me wondering.

The polypore is Fistulina hepatica. The Cystoderma/Stropharia thing is probably a Psathyrella. Lacrymaria asperospora The Tubaria looks like something omphalinoid. That furry thing is awesome. It must be a Gymnnopilus
Cheers Tim.
Spot on with Lacrymaria, it is almost certainly that.

Thanks Suchen, I really had a fun time out there, definately my best hunt so far.

Nice to see fresh shots for the season! (SW, I'm jealous)
I've started full-time work so I probably won't be not be able to hunt/shoot as much this year.
Here's a few mushrooms I found over the weekend at a small spot I frequent. No matter how many times I go there are always new and exciting mushrooms to photograph.

The clarity of your shots just floors me every time, I swear you could make a random dog turd look amazing.
Are these ones that you focus stacked? I feel like I could pick a couple of those straight off my screen. I could have used your help for those two little Mycena on the end of a bit of wood, I took about 60 odd photos and still couldn't get close to all of the cap detail in.
I think we found the same Pluteus (well not the exact same one.) From what I could work out P. lutescens and P. romellii are synonymous, romellii has a funky ring to it though.
I hope you get enough time over the season to have a good hunt around, mostly because I want to see the photos.
I reckon they are the same TimmiT. I actually thought of you when I found them (remembering you had found similar on MO).
They are single frame shots SW. It was getting dark so I could barely see the focus through the viewfinder. I just took lots of shots and hoped for the best.
