singult's 3. is Mycena clarkeana... one of my all time favourite mushrooms

gippo's 3. maybe a Tricholoma species (along the lines of T. terreum)

I typed the wrong sp. name in again...that's twice this week. :nonono:

I know them well too, mostly from Mayo's beautiful pictures of them.

Just a few pics, haven't had a chance to take many fungi pics lately.

Pretty sure it's Dermocybe austroveneta

Mycena viscidocruenta?

This one is pretty cool. Been watching this spot for a couple of months as I suspected some of these might come up. Hebeloma aminophilum 'Ghoul Fungus'. Probably not something you see everyday. This was growing from a few spots where there was a dead wallaby that has now fully decomposed. I noticed the mycelium and have gone back to check the spot a few times. Today was my lucky day.

Took this one of a coral fungus a while ago on a crappy camera. Ramariopsis sp.?

First one is a Hygrocybe.

I think I can see yellow around the cap margin on the second?  I would call it a Hygrocybe also if that's the case.

H. aminophilum looks right for your third.

Not sure on your Jelly, it's pretty rad though.

Thought it looked pretty different to the previous D. austroveneta that I found. Do you know which Hygrocybe sp.? That would be helpful.

Yeah, little bit of yellow around the cap margin. Once I had a better look in the field guide I would definitely say not Mycena sp.

The jelly, I am now pretty sure it's not Ramariopsis sp. I find these a bit tricky to ID.

Actually finding fungi in general not as easy to ID compared to plants, I find plants a lot easier.

I am not sure, I am not very good with nailing down Hygrocybe to species, except for the couple that I know well. I will have a bit of a look when I get a spare moment.

I believe there are lots of little red Hygrocybe spp. one of the sites I often use to point me in the right direction just lists them as Hygrocybe miniata group.

"NB: There are several similar bright red Hygrocybe species, so I have called this a "group."

I am actually really not sure what that is, again I am curious to so I will have a look with some free time on my hands.

It seems to go in waves, you kind of take a giant step, then realise how much more there is to learn.

So the plot thickens...

The guesses on Tricholoma, Oyster and Omphalotus didn't seem right, because neither of the latter species has a stem.
And turns out these guys DO have stems, they're just usually broken off when I've recently picked them. Oh, AND I'd forgotten about the pics from last year...

Here's the new pics...

Guessing is once again now open!
Is it a Tricholoma?

        Alert, you guys! I'm seriously!
