Nice photos/finds, Winters.I've found #2 before. I still don't have any idea what it is.

I only post my really hardcore naughty stuff over there I find though that uploading photos over there is now easier than here for me. The 20 megabyte Shroomery cap means I can only do two or maaaybe 3 at a time here whereas on M.O. I can get away with 4 at a time usually.

On MO the number of pics you can upload at a time is determined by your connection speed. I have been able to upload 50 pics at a time.

Wow, nice! I've got good upload speeds but never tried more than 4. Gonna have to throw more up over there.

If your upload takes more than a certain amount of time, it times out and doesn't work. As long as you can upload all the pics you selected in less time than the limit, it will work. I don't know what the limit is, it may be set by the browser. Probably 10 or 15 minutes.

Sorry to keep hijacking your thread winters, but Alan do you have multiple instances of M.O. going and uploading at once?

Haha no problem, by the way I've not had a problem with either site, annoying to have to click on each one independently (instead of just highlight all, one click and they all upload), but I haven't had either site tell me I've put too much?

Shroomery will tell you that you put too much if you upload more than 20 megs at a time. It is an arbitrary and annoying limit.
Mushroomobserver will imply that you may be putting too much if you add more than 4 images when creating an observation, but 99 times out of 100 it is wrong. One time I tried to add 50 images at a time from a Mexican internet cafe and it took 40 minutes and then timed out. Never again.

Found some good stuff, I'll put it on MO in a little bit, It's getting hot so I might start a new post for Summer after this one. There is mushroom at the that I have no idea about, I'm not even sure of family!
1. Xylaria cubensis:

2. An oldly salmon-pale Auricularia. I don't think it has a medullum but it was just to jiggly I couldn't get a good section:

3. I think this is Phyllotopsis nidulans. Lentinus strigosus. It looked kind of drab in the first pictures I took of it, then it looked orange when I took it home and washed it and took a picture with good lighting, so I think its Phyllotopsis nidulans, but its the first time I've collected it. It had clavate pleurocystidia:

4. Pluteus cervinus. There were several of these, each a little bit different I thought, some really light colored ones and some that seamed to be a bit smaller, but I couldn't distinguish them microscopically so I guess they were all P. cervinus:

5. Ok, here it is this one really has me stumped. Polyporus radicatus. Sadly it was very well decayed and that might really make an ID hard but maybe someone's seen this one before?? Habitat: On soil at the edge of the trail in mixed hardwood forest (oaks, poplar, hickory) Spore Print: WHITE! It crumbled like soft cornbread when I picked it up! and it was very light weight and airy feeling given its large size (14-15 cm). It and was full of holes and bugs and tunnels and smelled like a wet dog. The cap surface had an odd texture as well, sort of soft like felt, but I didnt see any hairs. I really wish this one was fresh because I'm pretty sure its something I've never heard of again. Very large spores and large 2-sterigmate basidia:

Thanks for looking I hope someone recognizes that last one :-)

Oh I had just posted that on MO as that after mxomops comments, yeh, thats the conclusion that I came to just a few minutes ago, the texture is still not right, but everything else fits, and I had linked another observation from Georgia that looked really close for the cap texture. I think thats as close as I can get. Thanks!
