SEASON AINT OVER YET !!!
after the most arduous season ever, there it was... a patch.. a meaty patch.. With a mate of mine, we checked out this park that weve never been to before... within 15 minutes we had spotted it, inbetween joggers, idly walking couples and a park ranger circling around tryin to close the place up, our best sub find yet.... ONTOP of that i came home to find my homegrown STILLL FLUSHINGG !! they came late but better than never !!
 
the first is our find and the second two are my patch - once we had these shrooms layed out it was a handful each and chucked on fear and loathing in las vegas for the first time.... fucking awesome...

Havent been out looking for subs for last couple of weeks but im sure theyre still out there. Season doesnt end until start to mid august usually, depending on weather of course.

Johnny is totally right, season is no where near done, people need to read up a little, just looking through past seasons threads shows good hauls coming through as late as november (albeit rare). Just need some more rains, AFAIK in my local area temps have been perfect, its just dry. Have some patience and they will keep coming.

Yeah i think thats all we need atm, lots of water.... the patch ive got is going good aslong as its kept watered, most everything else is quite dry and showin damage from the lack of humidity... find those spots that manage to keep wet and i rekon your chances are high of findin sum

Just went a little quite so I thought no one was having any luck  Spots around my area are done for the year... So I Went for a hunt in another area... easy to find them subs... they were the only ones growing!! lol defiantly Not over

Can't hurt to post a few more pics of the very unfriendly imposters we know as GALERINA. Today, these fooled me from close up. That is, of course, until I picked one up and noticed the ANNULUS on the browning stipe. Also,both the young and mature specimens displayed ORANGE GILLS. Remember noobs, subs NEVER have orange gills. Be careful!
Just thought I'd throw this one in too cause I thought it was cool!
And of course, the sub season continues.

Rode in a helicopter over a booming sub city today. Some of the older buildings still about but many new ones being erected (no pun intended).
Just thought I'd share the view!

Some really nice big looking specimens there ozsultan.
Am going for a hunt over the next couple of days, after having a couple of weeks off from hunting. Hoping to see some nice new flushes of fruits.

Hmmm, went for a hunt the other day, looks like my patches are pretty much done by the looks of things. Tried a couple of new spots. Lots of inactives and even some indicator species, no subs. Might have to scope out a few more areas or just retire for the season. Though, should still be a bit of life in the season yet I am thinking.

Well we haven't had any rain for one, its pretty dry out. Not very cold either. Don't see why it'd be the end of the season, there's still hope lol. I've already exhausted my spots, just hoping they spring back to life haha, too busy to go looking for new spots, plus its probably not karmically good for me to impede on other people's spots as I guard mine and will fend off anybody fucking with my spots that I find... Unless they ask me nicely for permission otherwise there'll be fireworks lol. I'm pretty territorial, but my spots wouldn't be stumbled upon anywhere to accessible or public for that matter, that shits fair game.

My spots have had rain and were pretty damp in general. Though, yeah, probably not as cold as it could be, been pretty cold today. Not saying I think the season is over just that my spots aren't fruiting like they were a month or so ago, not even many pins to be seen. I missed a mad flush as I didn't hunt for a couple of weeks, but it happens I guess.
In theory it should only be mid season really.

Picks from Saturdays hunt - not much around, and it did not help that the council cleared the side of the road taking with a few patches. They are iphone pics as I put the camera in the car but forgot to get the battery out of the charger.
My mate had 3 grams last night and 3 other guys had around 2 grams each - 2 of the guys who took the 2 grams ended up passing out and going into convulsions for about 30 seconds within minutes of each other. it happened after they had come down from the trip. I am hoping it was due to the alcohol, weed and synthetic canabis (kronic) they had consumed and not the shrooms.
If anyone has experienced unconsciousness and convulsions from shrooms PM me, I would be interested to hear your story.

Pffffffft far from over.. finds from all over the place in Katoomba, the cold season might start to take over soon in my best spot up there, and when it freezes it officially over, maybe that's causing the bluing? Anyhow lots of shrooms about, both in Sydney and in the mountains, they are just so easy to find that i don't even hunt anymore, i just go to my spot.
