 My gf might get meth or some amphetamine analogues prescribed

She was diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia but the doctor couldn't really give a proper diagnosis (idiopathic means they don't know whats causing it i.e. send her to another doctor). Anyway I was at the doctors office as well to describe my girl's sleeping pattern and our versions were in line (I didn't have to lie at all, she sleeps like a lot all the time).
Anyway she says that she will sell them to me when (if) she gets her prescription (the NHS is slow as fuck, she's been trying to see a doctor for her sleeping thing for over an year now  )
You gotta love pharmaceutical stimulants   Damn I hope she gets dexamphetamine

Sounds like a relationship going down the tube if that homer face is actually how you are feeling.
Holy fuck Amphetamines are amazing. I'd still be binging if that last overdose hadn't of scared me so much.
Good luck when it comes to not running around her place looking for more tweek.

Cause she doesn't respect the doctor's authority. She thinks doctors (the medical ones) are overpaid, ego-inflated know-it-alls who don't understand how drugs work  That and the fact that she doesn't want to take some pharm speed stuff on a regular basis.
I kind of agree with her opinion on medical doctors but taking all the precautionary measures I think she will benefit from the drugs. But then again if she wants to sell em to me who am I to say no

We live together so probably not gonna happen. I am pretty responsible with my stimulant use, I've never been on a binge or anything cause it seem too harmful. I'm mainly interested in using the stuff to work 24/7 in the lab when a deadline is on my ass
Sort of semi-therapeutic semi-recreational anti-laziness aid.

I think she still needs to pay some and I'm not sure how much of those drugs are covered by the NHS free (reduced price) drugs policy.

You feel tired when you wake up and you sleep at least 10-12 hours. You're tired and sleepy throughout the day but you don't fall asleep when you talk to your friends (unless you want to be diagnosed with narcolepsy ). You fall asleep when you start reading and just randomly throughout the day. Something along those lines.

Assuming that she has had all the investigations to rule out pathology other than idiopathic hypersomnia, the NHS prescription options are likely to be modafinil, dexamphetamine or methylphenidate. If any other drugs were prescribed, (unlikely IMO) then it would be on a private prescription.
Your girlfriend should give the treatments a try before immediately passing them on to you - at a further appointment the doctor will be interested in her progress with the medication. And they might actually provide her with some benefit.
Don't defraud the National Health Service!

So why doesn't she point this out to the doc and that she wants to explore other forms of treatment first? Other than you stimulating her to have docs prescribe stimulants to her so that you can stimulate yourself with them

She's already tried dex and modafinil and we both just fell in love with the dexies  . She says it greatly helps with her thesis writing and not thinking about food all the time while studying (happens to me as well  ). I think she is somewhat concerned about potential damage from amphetamine use.

She did and so did I while at the doctors place. I was all like "what kind of medication"..."but doctor isn't this addictive and neurotoxic"..."aren't there more benign methods"
And the doctor was all "but these are very good quality drugs, nothing like street drugs"

She will have to wait to hear the experts opinion on her problem. I suspect she might get modafinil cause its not addictive but it managed to keep her awake.
