Ha I was just talking with someone about this a second ago. Idk, it's hard to tell, I didn't expect what happened in the latest episode, still kinda confused on what happened. I could see a 50/50 chance of Glenn dying for some reason though. Maybe Andrea too idk.

im guessing they will be leaving the farm. hopefully..that farm sucks. they were there the whole season. they need something exciting. I mean the first season of this show was epic and the second season was kinda meh but it had some epic episodes/moments that kept me watching.

the suicidal bitch dies (hershall's daughter), the house is overrun, more unimportant peoples die, rick and his son (i forget his name) get cut off from the house because of the horde, they go into the barn and rick pours gasoline all over the barn to kill a shitton of them.. the ones that live get away in the RV, and they all regroup at the highway (where they started at the begining of the season).. rick then tells the group what that doctor told him at the end of last season and then he tells them he killed shane, his wife (i forget her name too) doesn't talk to him after that

season 1 was great, season 2 has been boring as shit with them just sitting at that farm and no real zombie attacks or threats.
and apparently when you die now you become a zombie even if not bitten? sounds like everyone is fucked now either way, they need to find an armory and just go to town.

So they are next to a prison for season 3 and there is some hooded character that will appear in season 3. I hope to god they make Rick a man in season three. He's been such a selfish pussy up until now. Also, can they kill of his son? I had that little shit and sophia's mom. Fuck both of them. In fact, why are characters other than the asian, his GF, the T-dog (or whatever his name is), and the redneck even alive? IMO, they are the only ones not trying to get themselves killed.

I don't like Sophia's mom either, she's kinda pointless, just kinda there really. Carl's more help than she is though, and obviously since the last couple episodes he's been becoming more valuable as part of the group. But yeah, Daryl's probably gonna kick a lot of ass in season 3, I hope at least, he's probably my favorite one.
Glad to see Michonne make her appearance though.

so i just watched the episode.
who the hell was the dude who died in the RV?? i don't even think i'd seen him all season. patricia also, or was she hershel's wife or something??
ninja dude is sick.
the episode was decent but definately not as good as episode 12.
they wasted 235820352835 bullets.
i thought it was cool how rick and carl were trapped in the barn, with the dead outside, because it was a contrast to how when they were in control of the farm, there were zombies trapped in the barn.
also was pretty happy to see 2 of my 3 predictions for the series come true, 1/ rick kills shane, 2/ they all have to end up leaving the farm. 3rd was about how shane/randall were infected, which i was wrong about.
also, to the dude in the previous walking dead thread who said " jenner told rick in the CDC that everyone is infected " , you spoiled a major part of the season finale you ballsack.

yah i thought this episode was disappointing as well, one of the previous episdoes was much better. and yah those 2 people who died were people you hardly saw at all, especially the guy in the rv he was all boom in the van like he's been here doin thangs then just dies. The women who died, seems like i seen her in the kitchen once and that was it.
and yah that part about them being infected was spoiled, even worse was how the actor said it seemed really off.

that hooded character was really a girl.
the group finds some hide out (not the prison, but it's a fort that's supposed to represent it)
when the group gets there rick and the group stop a zombie invasion, during the fight the forts leader dies and then rick takes charge of the fort and everyone in it.
that girl with the katana kicks major ass all season pretty much.
i can't remember what else happens in season three. i remember hearing something about the baby being a zombie and ricks wife having to abort.. although that might not be true. the rest of what i said is, for the most part.

You have to know how to use it properly, most people would epic fail with a katana.
Season 3 introduces "The Governor" who becomes Rick and the gang's main enemy, Merle also makes a comeback, and the hooded chick is a badass "good" character. On Talking dead Kirkman and the other guy came right out and said "season 2 was just laying the tracks for season 3.

well i was mostly saying this because he revealed secrets from season 3. i read something about season 3 introduces the govenor who is ricks main competition. !?!? i hate it when stuff gets spoiled. someone spoiled the biggest secret of season 2 in a previous thread about how everyone carries the disease as well. i was pissed about that when i saw the episode. its TV show etiquette people! don't spoil anything that hasn't already happened. i know i sound like a bit of a spoiling nazi but still...i like my suprises lolol. i don't even watch those " next week on <tv show> " things for a tv series i'm watching. i want everything to be 100% new and fresh

That's not spoiling or revealing secrets. All that info has been officially released by the writers of the show to the public as a preview for season 3. If you don't like hearing things like that you probably shouldn't read any discussions on the show.

Do they(the books or show) explain how everyone got the disease? Did it go airborne or is a mutation in a gene that when dying kicks in and reanimates the body?

yeah i guess so. i'm overly sensitive about spoilers. it's kind of like a mine field in these threads sometimes. because you want to discuss the show and revel in the awesomeness, but it's a balance of trying to dodge spoilers and things

And it was in a discussion about what was going on with people turning into zombies that where not bitten or attacked by zombies. If you couldn't figure out they where already all infected by the finale you should probably lay of the drugs for a bit. I didn't hear any special leaked info and the CDC from what I have heard wasn't even in the comics. What else could that whisper have been. Simply putting 2 and 2 together than looking back on anything else that related to it such as the extra bullet to the brain in the fat guys head from the bar and the 2 unbitten zombie cops from a few episodes back.

through out the whole series i always thought why the fuck doesnt anyone have a katana, its the perect weapon during a zombie apocylpse. Silent, fast, deadly, and easier to use mid range weapon and can be used with one hand. not to mention its badass-ness level. i keep one in the house, i welcome intruders.

my opinion of this series seems to lie in direct contradiction with the majority of you kids. The first half of season 1 was pretty epic, but by the end i felt pretty apprehensive about the continuation of the series.
but i've found i grow to like it more and more throughout the second season because it's starting to embody the same characteristics of the comic series i grew to love - that being the depth of character development and the psychological displays of people living on the brink of humanity.
the acting has grown a bit, as has the chemistry, imho. the comic series is NOT about the zombies. it's about the characters and the lengths to which they will go to survive.
that said, i'm reading a lot of hate about the season finale. this strikes me as funny considering the fact that before the finale aired, everyone was complaining how the series was too slow with zombie gore being featured too little. the final episode certainly delivered on the death and gore. was it not enough for you?

i suppose i simply disagree. we've certainly seen better performances and more depth among certain characters and a lack thereof among others, but that is to be expected among main characters versus minor. i've remained pretty interested in the development of rick, shane, deryl, andrea, and carl, more than the rest.
i wouldn't say it's the best thing on television by any means. but considering it's a show set during a zombie apocalypse, i think they've done an admirable job of keeping it classy, engaging, and about more than just the zombies.

With a katana I can cleanly remove a (multiple)heads from 4ft if not more.

Only if it is high quality reproduction or authentic. One also needs to be trained in the proper maneuvering of the handle to maximize cutting efficiency. those shitty $200 knock-offs would snap in half after 2-5 kills.

I was really shocked and excited when I found out Season three is going to be taking place in Maximum security prison. Zombies and prison. Its going to be awesome. Rick is a cop. If anyone gets out of line, he can quickly place them into custody, and lock them in a cell. Its the ultimate enviorment for a zombie show.
