Definitely. 10 beers and I'd be wasted. Depends what beer too I guess, I like to drink good beer, ten good IPAs is a lot different than ten bud lights. But really ten of anything; you have a high tolerance.

Your friend didn't "ALMOST DIE" he was going through the effect of not respecting the experience + alcohol.
Alcohol and irresponsibility is to blame here. If your intention was to keep him from drowning in his puke, then

I should elaborate... Jake was completely unconscious, he couldn't speak or hear or see. He does not remember any of it at all. You know how heroin overdose is portrayed in movies? Well that's pretty much what was happening to him... completely catatonic and vomiting profusely and uncontrollably. The dose of DMT he did would not have even put him in hyperspace. It was a very mild dose, if you have not tried snorting free base DMT, you should try it and you will know where I'm coming from. He was just a little too drunk and DMT sent him way over the edge. There was know way I could have known that was going to happen. There are no reports of this happening that I know of. And for everyone saying to respect the drug and what not, I do and so does Jake, 40mg of snorted DMT is very mild and nothing like smoked DMT.

Sounds like your friend either just doesnt know how to handle his drugs/alcohol or he had some kind of allergic reaction I mean you and your other buddy handled it fine. I think the problem was your friend not the beverages and party favors... Carry on

You can sort of get allergic to your own tissues. Just an example being myastenia gravis where the acetylcholine receptor is being targeted by endogenous antibodies and you lose muscle tone. They give sarin gas to patients (used a chemical weapon in WWII or I) cause its an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor and upon administration some improvement is seen but its only diagnostic.
Anyway the point is OPs friend is a dumb bitch.

Ive always read that DMT is found in the brain (where? idk) and is thought to have something to do with dreaming (also read it gets released upon near death experiences causing ppl to see crazy shit when near death), but ive never read an actual answer as to what it does if it is indeed in your body.
Im no scientist, not even close, so idk, thats juss what ive read/heard

that's peculiar
i turned a new friend on to dmt just the other night at a friend's debaucherous birthday party
after a good handful of various drinks everyone was loosened up and talking about things more freely, i got into a discussion about tryptamines with this guy and he expressed that he wished he knew where to find dmt
motioned that i had some in my car, we stepped outside and i gave him one of the most enjoyable moments of his life on ~150mg in a vapor
