Please join me in welcoming our two new administrators, eris and veggie! It's no secret that things have stagnated a bit with the site lately, and these guys are part of our effort to jump-start development. Most of you probably already know them as highly regarded moderators in the community, but going forward they'll be helping us with programming projects (so, we'll be able to accept feature requests again!), site management and organization (remember the Getting Started forum concept?), member and vendor relations, and maybe even some cool surprises for our 15th anniversary which is coming up in August. These guys have really put in their time and proven their worth as volunteers, and I'm glad they've agreed to assume additional influence and responsibility as admins. This is an exciting opportunity for the site to grow and improve, and I look forward to a bright future for the Shroomery!

I do plan on being at the NE gathering this year. I had plans to be at the last one and then work called me in at the last minute.. but this coming one, I'm gonna try not to let anything get in the way. I've been to a gathering in Ohio before, just not the official one... yet.
