I caught a charge last month for "unlawful use of property". What I need is a creative reply if someone asked what I did. The reason I got pinched is because while I was z00ted on adderall and valium once I picked up a pack of 3$ neodymium magnets and stuck them in my pocket without even thinking about what I was doing. My lawyer allowed me to plea bargain it down to this charge. I know it was a wrong, stupid, unethical, morally unjust thing to do and I'm truly sorry I ever did it
This is only a misdemeanor but still looks bad from any angle you look at it if you're an employer. I'm unemployed at the moment and I am desperately hoping someone could come up with a creative reply to someone asking what I did. I've had a month to think about it and I'm coming up empty. I can't get this expunged for a few more months but I need a income in order to survive and pay pills.
Please if anyone can come up with a reason why I have this on my record PLEASE type it up as the truth makes me look like a piece of shit. Which in reality I'm not, I'm a thoughtful person considerate of others and I always have been.
I'm leaving to go on a long walk....

How big was the thing you stuck in your pocket? Do they have it on video?
What does the police report say?
You could always go with "I just absent-mindedly put it in my pocket while walking around"
hell, i've done that with a pack of gum before.

That doesn't sounds too bad #3. What sucks is I've already been to court and it's carved in stone. I was denied a job last week when I put it on the app saying they only allow 5th degree misdemeanor and mine was a 4th. You know whats funny? I went to the same place today when a different girl was working and have orientation tomorrow at 10am, LMAO.
Of course I didn't put it on the app. I'm guessing the girl from the first time to be there, recognize me and I'll deny it was me(haven't shaved). I'll last a week tops I assume. This bites extra as the place of work is only couple miles away and I can get all the hours I want.
I was thinking along the lines of I hacked a computer or something to that effect. But where and why? Anything reason not involving the word theft dood. When I was booked the pigs overreacted to everything I said trying to bait me while I was a perfect gentlemen. They acted like I kidnapped their daughter and gave it to her dry for a week straight. This stigma is horrible. I'm not sure how soon exactly I can get this expunged but when I can I'll have to cough up at least 500$ for a lawyer just to do some paperwork.

Already did, when I was walking out this old wannabe hard ass with high blood pressure grabbed my arm, bruised it nicely while almost dragging me into a small room 15 feet away. This was at MENARDS

say ur friend pocketed it and u didnt know and when he got caught they charged you with it. Say it wasnt ur fault lol. I used the same excuse on my weed charge when looking for a job. everyone in the car got charged, it wasnt mine

if they see the charge "unlawful use of property" it may not say where.
That dam cable company raised my bill from 30 to 120 and would not remove the charge or disconnect the wire from my house. So I stuck it in the outlet, I dont know how that would be unlawful use. The line was mine is it not. Its not my fault they failed to deattach it from my house when I canceled the cable.

Can you explain further? This sounds really good. A lot better than trying to explain how I DDOS'd a website with a bunch of other people.
