I suppose if you were a vegan, and you didn't get any iron from fortified foods (e.g. some breakfast cereals), then it could've been the case. Since I'm not a vegan, I guess i've never looked up whether or not lack of iron in a vegan diet can be a problem (since it is found in numerous foods, albeit in relatively small quantities naturally.) I know B12 could definitely be, but if you were taking that, then maybe low iron is the next factor in line to cause fatigue.
