Just how safe does everyone think this place is? I'm starting to think there are cops involved with this place and I'm thinking of leaving it for good. I don't cultivate shrooms but the whole reason I got on here was to learn about cultivation for my friend that wanted to grow but didn't have the Internet. So now he knows how and all but I got attached to this place but I've grown paranoid because I smoke ganja and eat shrooms and what not. I'm afraid that just being on here is gonna get me in trouble of some sorts. Someone that works for the site is sending me a spore print that I'm giving to my friend and I gave them my home address so now I'm really freaked. I don't want a conspiracy charge or anything. What do I do!?

I'm Wiccan_Seeker, one of the admins here and a member for almost 10 years now. I've always been on the lookout for this sort of thing.
I know not a single case where someone's shroomery posting habits were used as evidence in a court of law. I can guarantee you that to the full level of my knowledge (and the Shroomery is pretty transparent for an admin) the staff is uninfiltrated by Law Enforcement.
If cops are here, whatever they do for the past decade now does not seem to lead to busts or court cases.
Its my conviction that most LEO who probably are here, are here out of a personal offduty interest in psychedelics, not a professional onduty one.

Thanks Wiccan. That makes me feel better. I love this place, it worries me that search and post habits may be monitored and linked to me. Is this even possible or am I just crazy paranoid?

You can use onion routing to hide your tracks. Download Tor. Also use a 'private browsing session' so it doesn't leave any tracks in your browser and don't have an autosaved username/password for this site

It probably is monitored and linked toi you, along with everything you do online, it just isnt used in criminal persecution.
Now if you plan to pull another september 11 I suspect that all changes.
High level Law Enforcement just isnt interested in the fact that you use drugs, have a few jars of penis envy in your closet and (oh my!) that you sometimes shoplift. They are looking for threats to national security and are uninterested in any of the stuff a beat cop would take interest in.
The higher ups know that the War On Drugs is bullshit and that you cant stop people from getting high on drugs. They have bigger fish to fry.

I hope your right! Just to be clear here, I want to say that I don't shoplift, have jars of PE in my closet nor would I ever think of the other thing you said. I'm so paranoid that I don't even want to type that date in because I'm sure that would catch big brothers attention for sure.

I know how you feel man, I made a post just like yours. the spice and weed was bugging me out making me paranoid. its no way to live. I quit that shit now, as well as cultivating actives.

Honestly i don't think you have anything to worry about, I do cultivate and i have been known to grow a little pot every now and then and have been posting for many years and on many websites (including overgrow who got busted in my own country). Never have i felt exsposed as quite frankly no one using the web to investigte crime is going to care about my small time activities. While i suspect that theoreticlly if some one got busted the cops could look online relating to an ip adress to see if they could find more evidence yet i have never heard of that being done. Bottom line don't tell the world if you have a giant gro op but really don't worry and possibly step away from the bong.

I grew 10 thousand pounds of magic mushrooms and put them all in garbage bags and buried them in YOUR back yard....last week!
Now if you looks out your window and sees an armada of

I have nine kilos of mimosa hostilis and I sometimes I hear the DEA snooping around late at night in the yard. My dog will bark at them.
