NFC - GB vs NO. new orleans loses since they have to play GB outside in the freezing cold.
AFC- texans vs ravens. texans. AFC is tough to decide... for some reason it seems like they have had way more key injuries than nfc.

AFC - I'd like to hope my Ravens make it, but I seriously have my doubts. Especially if, for one game, Cam Cameron decides that Flacco needs to throw 12039532597 times and Ray Rice only needs to carry the ball 5 times. But to humor the idea I'm gonna say Bal/NE in the championship game
NFC - 49ers/GB

NFC - Green Bay vs Dallas. Packers will lose because of an Aaron Rodgers injury. Tony Romo finally exercises all of his demons and plays like a jedi.
AFC - Houston vs New England. Texans win for the first ALL TEXAS SUPERBOWL!

I have the same but in the AFC I have New England vs. Oakland (more likely Pittsburgh but I like Oakland)

With all due respect to Picklez, the only chance the Cowboys would have winning in Lambeau is if Rodgers has both of his hands cut off in a machinery accident (like prismism alluded to; albeit in different terms). And I fucking hate the Packers.
But it's their ring to lose.

I don't see the packers repeating. They are a total offensive team. The bucs went for over 400 yards against them.

i think the saints could take the packers in a dome right now, but not in the freezing cold. the only way they would stand a chance out there is if they started doing high altitude training and shit.
cowboys? lulz. thats all im gonna say.
49ers... i can see that. even though they have really only had a few difficult games this year they are really starting to produce. but drawing the nfc east and being in the nfc west kind of takes away from the wowness of their 9-1 record. They are one of the most well rounded teams in the nfl with no real deficiencies or gaps anywhere, and outside of having a great run D, they dont dominate in anything else. I would rather the saints play the 49ers than the lions right now.
anyone know if rice is going to be out for the 49ers game?

I see SF vs GB and Baltimore vs New England (if the seeding works and doesnt put them head to head in the 2nd round)
I see a GB Baltimore Super Bowl with GB repeating (also the following year, making a 3-peat)

why are people picking NE? they are not even in the top 5 of the afc if you ask me. they have probably the worst secondary in the league. sure, i see them in the playoffs with an 11-5 but the second they have to play any team with a mediocre offense and a decent D they are going to be out. I would put the texans, ravens, steelers and even the bengals in the category of teams that could easily knock the pats out of the playoffs.
people seem to only care about the undefeated record, and don't see that they are giving up tons of points and almost in last place in allowed yards in both passing and rushing. Yes they are the #1 offense in the league, but again, all it takes is a good game of D from any team with a good offense to knock them out. If Jahvid Best is playing on thanksgiving, i couldnt see the line being anymore than 3, same goes if cutlers thumb is ok by week 15. pretty interesting how GB will most likely clinch Home field in week 15 and still have 2 interdivision games to go.... 2 teams that stand a good chance against GB in the playoffs. they can sit players in those games, and risk having both those teams make the playoffs, or what I imagine will happen is they have to play hard the entire season and we will most likely see some key injuries, leveling the playing field a bit in the playoffs.

so just crunched the schedules and SF has the best chance to usurp the HFA from GB, which would be huge WHEN the saints get there.

People pick NE because they have the closest thing to a Peyton Manning in Tom Brady. Brady can pick apart defenses when he's having a good game and he seems to play well as often as any QB in the NFL. The defense isnt great but it's good enough to win games when you have an offense that can post 30+ points with ease
This is coming from a NE hater too

History says the NE will enter the playoffs. So, I was just guessing from there.
I think they (GB) will get their D in line, like last years squad. Assuming the O can put up 24+ and the D is back to at least decent, I think GB has it, again.

NE has a pretty good ride for the rest of the season, so I'm saying Tom Brady gets them more W's than L's, get's the 1st round bye, works his magic in the division game...then loses to the Ravens in the Championship game

Well Houston is F'd with Lienart, maybe they'll get ORton. I just think that Lienart wont be very good for them. Hopefully he is though
I think the way it looks now a GB/49ers NFC Champ & a Stealers/PATS AFC champ. GB will beat anyone they play, they look unstoppable.

NFC - 49ers vs. GB = shocker of the year goes to the 49'ers. I picked them before the season even started, just like I did with GB last year, so I am not changing my ways now. They have the defense to stop anyone, including Rodgers. As long as SF stays healthy on both sides of the ball, look for them to knock the reigning SB champs out of the playoffs.
AFC - what a fucking mess. My pride wants the Steelers, but I am not going to pick them because I will end up jinxing them. But you all should know the Steelers are always contenders.
Hou vs. NE = yes Hou lost Schaub, but they still have a top running game and defense. Leinart is, well, Leinart. He will get Andre back, to take pressure off their other receivers, making it easier to pick out single coverage. He will progress, and has a lot of time to get a grip on the first team offense incase Schaub is done for the year.
I'm picking sleepers this year, Hou vs 49ers in the big game. Paw, don't cream your pants.

9ers looked really bad last night, I am now thinking 1 and done for them. There is no way they can match points with GB, and they can't beat teams with a strong D. Time will tell though.

How stupid do half the Packers fans have to feel. They were basically picketing their team over the Brett Favre shit and now we are sitting here talking about Aaron Rodgers, easily in the top 3 QB's in the NFL (Peyton, Brady, Rodgers) and yes I think Rodgers has surpassed Brees now. And we are talking about them 3-peating.
Looks like the front office did know what they were doing after all

Ted Thompson (gm) is fucking brilliant. I wasn't too thrilled with Rodgers in 05 seeing him in a preseason game. I lived in gb at the time of the transistion. It was ...to be completely honest...a dark moment in gb history. People were taking their frustrations out on AR. Yelling shit at him, signs, something about Texas Roadhouse not seating him. Poor fucking guy. BF had eveybody wrapped around his crooked weiner. I am so delighted to see Aaron not only shine, but fucking excell. Anyhow, Ted took the bullet for Mike McCarthy and Aaron during the whole ugly divorce. People hated Ted with a passion. Now, not only is his foresight shining (Aaron Rodgers) but the depth he built where the most injured team sailedd thru the 1 2 and 3 seeds in the nfc to win the Lombardi trophy and bring it home. He is a wonderful nfl arcitech (sp?). 1 man goes down, next man up, with little to no disruption in services.
And yes, I fully believe a 3 peat is on the way.

Imo the packers are built for dome play. Even on the road, I like gb chances while inside.
