You can walk around the rave saying "Has anyone seen molly?!?"  I've simply seen people do that a million times at raves.  Lastly,

Look for the guy that looks like he might be "busy" but at the same time seems into the music and looks approachable.  There was ONE TIME I sold molly capsules at a rave, and I had a light up shirt on that lit up to the bass of the music.  Every single person in the venue noticed me, and a lot of them asked for beans.  The majority weren't lucky enough to get any, but to the few that did, I'm sure they had an amazing time.  Another time I had extra rolls on me, myself and my buddy were walking down a 2 way flight of stairs.  He was putting his hands on the ceiling and said "feels so softttt".  A group of people on the way up kinda stopped and turned and mumbled "got some rolls?"  They were more or less asking him, I think, and he didn't have any, and I really didn't care enough to sell any to those people.

Regardless - If it's a rave mdma/rolls are everywhere and if you really wanna take some you can find some.  Just look around, be observant, maybe try to catch some pieces of conversation.  I've watched people do/sell drugs right in front of my eyes at raves before, so they are most definitely going to be there.  But I would recommend molly over beans for sure.  I bet you know where to get the good beans, and chances are low they will be from random raver.  If you want some molly, you can find molly.  But, you mentioned trying it sober too.  Never done it myself but I've gone with friends that were sober before and they said they had good times.  Lots of options

It can be sketchy buying molly and stuff from an event like that sometimes.  Just teaches you to be more prepared next time
