I've got alcoholic genes. I have lots of alcoholic family members.
Usually it's 4mg alprazolam, 20mg zolpidem, 1000mg phenibut, and some alcohol to get up to baseline for me at this point.

hah, imperialcactus and bothhands your posts reminded me of a great story of a friend on xanax.
so this guy i know bought like 10 bars or something one day and wasn't sharing so basically he was on xanax all day while we (me and my 2 other friends) smoked weed and were entertained by him.
it was the funniest shit ever because every couple of minutes he would say something along the lines of "god damnit i took 4 of these and dont feel shit" and then a couple of minutes after that he would be like "yo, what are we doing?" when he was the one who came up with the plan.
at one point we were sitting in my car hotboxing it and he says "i want some taco bell". me being high, i couldnt deny the drive there. so we go to taco bell, eat some tacos, and the whole time were inside he is bitching about how he barely feels anything and is going to take some more. then we go out and get in my car; in the parking lot before i even start my car he goes "where the hell are we?" and then looks down at his shirt and goes "why the fuck is there cheese and meat all over my shirt?!"
i was seriously about to piss myself laughing.

For me, if I can't recall the fun I've had then there is no point. Waking up the next day wondering what I did and if it was embarrassing has no benefit to me whatsoever. No, benzos are the only drug I know of that can pretty much stop a trip dead in its tracks. I don't take downers othwerwise, so my experience with them stopping a trip are limited.

That's another thing that makes Xanax such a problem, when people say it affects everyone differently, we mean some people are very sensitive to it. Others, like me, can take way, way too much and be fine. You really don't know how well you can function like that until you try it... this is not ideal. Those who are sensitive and lose control usually end up in car wrecks, jail, so on... passed out at best. Consider yourself lucky to be able to function safely and enjoy it, a lot of people can't do both in that state.

I watched a guy drool and sag all over himself in my camp at Wakarusa this year. I'd say he was on a good 10 bars or so. He then proceeded to load up a rig of ketamine and shoot it up into his leg right there in our camp.
It took him about 10 minutes to load the rig inbetween passing out and drooling on himself. Whenever he finally shot up he just straight up passed out. We all thought he was going to die so we dragged his ass to his camp a couple camps over and left him in his tent with his friends to take care of him.
He was fine later, but damn did he look like he was going to die.

I was driving around on 100mg phenazepam without any kind of ticket or accident or anything. I don't remember it, but apparently I went to the store to buy some mushrooms, and I cooked dinner for the family and everything. I don't remember anything for almost 2 full weeks, but everyone else thought I was fine. No one knew I was on anything at all. Thought I had maybe had one drink or something, and didn't even think it was unsafe for me to drive, or they would have stopped me. Benzos are weird.
By the way, stay away from phenazepam.

Oh, I'm sure the buzz is way awesome, but its not awesome when you're already risking your life on the amount of xanax you're on. Not to mention going into a deep khole by shooting drugs straight into your blood stream.
