Clubs are cool when I go with friends and with my own drugs. I wouldn't want to go there searching for stuff though, either company or drugs. People suck and buying drugs in clubs is sketchy.

I enjoy going to clubs with chicks. If you go with a group of guys you look like a bunch of creeps. When I go with chicks they just talk to other chicks and bring them over to dance with me. It seems to work pretty well  .

That's kind of what people do at clubs...
Letting loose and having fun, not analysing the surroundings...
If the music and the people are good then it would be good.

There's nothing wrong with it per se, but it never ends up being a great night for me. I'm not very good at breaking the ice with random people, I'm not really a funny guy, so I don't end up doing a whole lot other than dancing by myself. Also, how do you chat with people when you can't hear anything?

After I went to my first rave I decided never to go clubbing again.
Raves are void of drunk douchebags, everyone is there to enjoy themselves and have fun. People dance in their own space for fun and if you bump into someone its all smiles and no fights.
Furthermore, I get hit on by girls way more at raves than bars. At bars or clubs women can be very protective etc, but everyone is way more open at raves (MDMA is wonderful, aint it?).
Lastly the music is 10000x better!

Depends on the club, the people and the music. That makes up "The Scene".
One of the big big reasons I would rarely ever get to a club before 12am are the alcoholics. Clubs stop serving alcohol at 2am so you know they will be out of there soon enough.
Most clubs I use to go to were After-Hours anyways.

I've only been to a club a few times and yes, they usually do suck. Guys out number women 3:1 in most cases and god forbid you make the mistake of bringing your girlfriend with you. Youll have every drunk jersey shore wannabe hitting on her and getting pissed off.

I find most raves to have a similar vibe to clubs but with different clothing and more drugs.

Festivals aren't even in the same league as clubs and raves. Its like eating acid (festivals) compared to huffing paint (clubs/raves).

wouldnt say that true at all. Ive been to a few smaller events that blew any festival out of the water anyday. Vibes are much better at smaller events. Less shadyness

I only go to small festivals where the vibes are heady and the douche bags don't exist (or well, not in large numbers).
