I tried dark souls. Fucking impossible lol. Almost destroyed my controller. Not used to hard games these days lol

Yeah, it's probably the most difficult single player game I've ever played. That's why I love it though; figuring out a difficult area or defeating a boss after continuous trial and error brings a truly novel feeling of accomplishment that is rare to find in modern video games.

Hell yeah wasn't sure if there was a limited edition available. I tried to preorder dark souls when it came out but they didn't have a limited edition. Im definitely getting the limited edition of skyrim! there are some sic videos with a game reporter who got to play it with the creators on youtube. the background looks like legit pictures. it shows the reporter on his map on a mountain peek trail and it was a extremely small portion of the map and it took him hours to walk it. can't remember exactly how many but it was 3+. ill see if i can find the link. SKYRIM WOOOOOT!

Dear god get me this link. Ive been following this game every day since announcement (really about 3 years lol) and basically know everything about it thats allowed to me by what they release. I mightve already seen it but ive seen alot and i might just not remember lol

I cannot wait for this game
Oblivion was cool but the way mobs leveled with you kind of destroyed the whole character improvement that i'm addicted to :P
Hopfully skyrim will fix this ;D

I'm pretty stoked that there are going to be dragons.
As soon as I get my copy, first on the list is the thieves guild.
I'll probably be switching from this game to MW3, and vice versa every couple of days.

That's what I hear. I've read the reviews on gamefly, and even though it is difficult, they still give it a high rating.
The customization options on there looks amazing.
This will be a breath of fresh air, because i'm tired of just breezing through games on the hardest setting and not even breaking a sweat.

AAGH I need the Collector's Edition of Skyrim, but I don't have the money. Hopefully it will still be available new after release. Apparently availability will be limited.

Get Dark Souls man, it is truly incredible. It's just as good as I expect Skyrim to be, in it's own way. The art style is unrivaled in my opinion. Over 100 weapons, 35 sets of armor, countless enemy types, magic, and some of the most intricate, labyrthine environments I've ever witnessed in a video game. The atmosphere of Dark Souls is just mind blowing. The enemies and equipement are incredibly unique and beautifully designed. Artistically, I like it more than Skyrim (not to say Skyrim's art isn't amazing). With Dark Souls, you feel like you're immersed in a truly original, unique world. Everything feels novel, from the art to the NPC dialogue.
It may not have the complete freedom of Skyrim, but there are so many different types of armor and weapons that you can really personalize your character. The extreme difficulty only adds to the experience. Every success is supremely rewarding, and it forces you to approach the game situations almost like real life situations, because the consequences of your mistakes are so great, and you can't cancel your decisions after making them.
This isn't even bringing the multiplayer into account, which is implemented masterfully. Fantastic PvP and coop. Seriously, buy this game

Nah. That will be true at low levels. But if you develop sneak skills and get the perks, you will be able to stealthily take down dragons. There are better companions now too that will help out the stealthy players.

This game is going to be a lot like Oblivion but with even more variety. Is Skyrim smaller than Cyrodil? From what I have seen it is.
