I loved Skyrim until 4 main quests glitched up at once on me, I looked it up on wiki, and it's a known thing, seasons unending glitches more quests when paired with the "join the stormcloak" quests than wiki says..106 hr data i dont even want to play anymore until they hopefully patch that.

Bought Skyrim a few days back and when it finally arrived in the mail and id finished installing it on the ps3 there wasnt enough disc space to run it! So I delete a bunch of crap and still I apparently have 'less than 500mb' left. BULLSHIT! So I ended up having to sell th game without even getting the chance to play it  still, i kept the cool map...

Why did you install it? Is that mandatory on the PS3?
On the 360 it is recommended not to install it and my wife plays it fine on that(I play on the PC).

u might have forgot to delete your older game "installs" when u say u were deleting stuff it might have just been demo's and psn games.  actual game installs can be huge, and if u have a small hard drive and u play alot of games ive seen some game saves that were pretty big too

This.
Game data files are what fill up the PS3 faster then anything else (unless you put a bunch of music n shit on there). My old 60GB drive was getting filled up pretty quick once I had a good collection of games.  Upgraded it to a 250 and I have plenty of room now.

Besides, I don't understand why you'd turn around and sell a game without playing it just because your HD is full?  Clear off some room and play it!  Thats what I always did with my 60GB drive.  Even if you have to delete game data from games that you still own...you can always reinstall those ones later if you want to play them again.  Its kinda like throwing away your brand new car after the first tank of gas runs out.

And on a side note...I'm trying to gather up all the trophys for this game on a single character.  My character (the first and only one I've played) is approaching lv 58 after about 250 hours of gameplay.  I'll easily crack 300 hrs before I pull it off though.

I think it is mandatory, yes.  And I wasn't aware that you could actually delete game save data, will give that a shot and if it works i'll be rebuying for sure.

Its not the save data you need to delete, its the actual game data.  Save files are relatively small.  Go into the "game data" section and delete those files to free up space.

I finally completely my gaming build, and I've been deeply immersed in Skyrim for the last 2 weeks! Yes! I've pushed the game pretty far graphically, with around 30 mods to enhance the textures, and the config file tweaked to the max. I've had to drop the shadows down from Ultra to High, but aside from that, everything is maxed out and I'm averaging 40-60 FPS.

The long and arduous process of saving for this PC was well worth it!

Have any of you guy fucked around with the console commands in this game? It's fucking awesome, you can spawn anything! Last night I have it a go for the first time. With the game maxed out and modded, I could only handle around 50 NPCs, but it was still incredibly fun. Nothing like pitting yourself against an army of 50 skeletons, or scheming a huge NPC war. Good fun.

Aw crap.  Today I realized I screwed it up.  Somewhere early on I botched it by making the wrong choices during a couple of the daedric quests.  I did not receive the required daedric artifacts to acquire the trophy.  Its a mistake that cannot be undone with this character.  So today I started a new character.  Gonna concentrate on the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood since I need a couple trophies there to round things out.  Everything else is done.  And as I go I can make sure to get all the artifacts I need for the Oblivion Walker trophy.

It was funny starting over from scratch and not being able to kill almost anyone/anything with one or two blows.

Okay so, SKYRIM MODS!
What are some of your guys' favorite mods? List 'em.

Wars in Skyrim(heroes and villians)
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6176

It adds heroes which are strong characters that will (generally) help you and they protect towns. They are independent, unlike companions, they do stuff and go places while the game is going. Then there are Villians which are strong characters that will attack you and towns.

Better UI (menus)
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3863

self explanatory.

Warzones: Civil Unrest
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9494

This adds places on the maps where two random factions will duke it out. Example: You'll find the legion and the storm cloaks fighting each other and can join in to fight for the side you like (and hopefully likes you back), or just kill everyone. When you combine Warzones and Wars in Skyrim the game feels more alive.

Deadly Dragons
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3829

Let's face it, even on the hardest difficulty dragons are pussies. This mod adds NEW dragons and makes dragons stronger.

Skyboost

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6058

This mod optimizes the game for PC and gives you large performance gains. We wouldn't need this mod if the developers would have (and should have) done this themselves.

The only mod I tried so far is the HiRes texture pack but it kept crashing out.

The new Nvidia drivers produce upto 45% performance gains on Ultra settings. Might be worth trying if anyone had slowness before.

I played it through with 4 different characters now....wondering when the first expansion pack will come out.

So I'm at Walmart today and I go through the gaming section...

And Skyrim is being sold for $40!! $20 cheaper than on Steam!

Finally picked it up.. Not really sure what I think yet. Making a magic character.

People have every right to bitch about the menu system. Wow it sucks.
