Dubstep is an art. Its a vibe. It's more than just the audio. Dubstep has a physical side to the music. If you don't know who Loefah, Mala or Coki are I hate to say that you probably don't know what dubstep is at all.
Its not about the wobble or loud abrasive sounds and robot noises.
Its about deep bass, dub vibes and chill, reverbrant beats. Its not the sort of music you can listen to on your iPod or laptop speakers. Its supposed to be experienced on a proper system. Thats why many old school artists only release vinyls not CDs, because they want you to come to the clubs and listen to their music on a proper system the way it was meant to be played, not on your shitty laptop speakers.

Im with you op, dubstep is atrocious. If you have to be fucked up to enjoy your music, well then your music sucks. I should also mention i find myself hating every fucking body and every fucking thing. With especial feelings of disdain regarding anything trendy. Its called becoming a cynical old prick

I was listening to some of the early dubstep artists before it was even a term
But the direction it has gone, I cannot even stand 99% of the shit anymore.
You can't share bad opinions about brostep though because everyone will jump down your throat and defend it to the death.
Like you are attacking them personally or something. To me that may be half the reason I don't like it.. The rabid dubstep fans.
It's pretty much the new pop.
Dubstep pretty much sucks IMO. So does the Grateful Dead except for a few songs.
But then, that's like, my opinion man.

I'd say you're idea of what a troll is, is pretty spot on. But when you say shit like, lets separate dubstep and music...You've got to understand you're basically saying to all of us dubstep/dub heads, that what we listen to is less than music. Sorry to tell you, dubstep is music, regardless of your close minded idea on music. If it's just an opinion treat it as so, and just say something along the lines of, you just don't like it. I'm not a fan of the grateful dead or sphongle or any of that stuff. But it is music, and I respect it...I don't understand why some people like it. But I also don't choose to ask a pointless question, especially when you know what answers you're going to get.
