The trichomes are turning amber not brown....and that just means the bud is over mature. Couch lock high. Nug in the picture looks good, I harvest just as majority of my trichomes get cloudy.

Dank buds are buds that have not been properly cured.
Not really, in most areas when someone says they got the dank it means they have really good nuggets. Nuggets that smell super good, are full of trichomes, and most of all get you blazed. Dank nuggets does not mean the same as wet nuggets (at least in my vernacular) What you describe as Dank sounds more like beasters or improperly dried buds.
DANKED if you do! DANKED if you don't! I like the buds that crumble like cookies when I buy them not that dank shit.
Again, lol, dank doesn't mean wet, it means high quality, which is dried.
Definition of DANK from dictionary.com:
unpleasantly moist or humid; damp and, often, chilly: a dank cellar

We're aware that the dictionary definition for the word "dank" is something to the extent of wet and musky.
But the word has a new meaning now and that is high quality. It could be used to describe nugs, or burritos, or beer or music or artwork or just about anything, which has the quality of being danker then fuck.

Dictionary's are not reliable when it comes to slang terminology.
Dank came from Rank, because high quality bud smells hella rank, making it dank ass bud.
