 September 2011 Picture of the Month Nominations

  Welcome to the September 2011 Ethnobotanical Garden Picture of the Month Nominations thread.In this thread you can nominate the best pictures posted in the Ethnobotanical Garden and other forums during the month of September. At the end of September all nominations go into a poll and we can vote on which should be the Picture of the Month. Anyone can nominate a picture.
Four contest rules:
1. Original botanical-related pictures only.
2. Posted during September only.
3. No Self-nominations allowed.
4. No humans are to be in the shot.
Each nomination should include:- A thumbnail linking to a larger version of the picture.
- A brief description.
- The name of the picture's owner.
- A link to the thread in which the picture was originally posted.

can i nominate a picture of my own? does it have to in a thread or can i just post a picture and ask that it be considered for the picture contest? i got some beautiful cereus bloom shots that to die for....id love to share them and my vanity would love evn more that they be considered in the contest
