I have read in Gamepro mag that CoD MW5 will have an "Elite" package
that they are charging people for...What the heck? Anyone heard this
and have any comments? We make them millions and they still stick it
up our butt! "What What, in the butt!"

Nothing new. MW2 had a special package that came with night vision goggles and other shit, the last one I beleive came with a RC spy car along with other crap.
Fan Boys, what do expect with with nerdgasms and Christmas so close together.

Yes, but that was for different game packages itself. Those came with the physical game. The Elite is offered for online play and they charge you to use it.

i think it is mw3, not 5. a buddy of mine got the last elite package and said the night vision sucked really bad. don't think u are gonna use them in the woods to fuck with your friends, they don't even work well enough to find your dick in a dark bathroom.

You are right it is modern warfare 3 I get confused there is so many of them...it's a shame that the other dude has given up on the call of duty series. I still like it, just pissed they are gonna charge for use of some extra online content.

Yeah it gets confusing because of Treyarch continued with the number scheme and Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games continuing the Modern Warfare number scheme.

Elite is going to be like a facebook/social add on for mw3, i beloeve it will also include a theatre for gameplay uploads.

I just wish people would smarten up and buy the better game (Bf3)
COD doesn't deserve all the $ for just taking the same game every year and throwing minor changes.
Bf3 is a game worthy of 2011/2012 video games should progress with the technology, not stay the same

I hope casual gamers continue to stick to themselves. I'm super pumped for BF3! Just gotta see how 'origin' turns out...

yeah, the elite is not something everyone should or has to buy. It's like advanced stats, watching/streaming your old games on a PC that were from the xbox, social stuff, tournaments, extra video storage, and it spans across all cod games.
There is actually some cool stuff that comes with it which everyone who buys the game gets for free. Some of the things I remember are: creating new classes and viewing all your unlocks/progress from your computer or phone, a limited amount of web space on the site that you can store videos you make in theatre with links to stream them on forums and stuff, some tournaments (hosted on EA server), although paying members get access to the best tournaments with prizes.
Basically if you've played halo and looked at their website thing that shows your stats, it's the same idea.

Bf3 is going to run at 30fps
Mw3 is going to run at 60fps
(frames per second)
If your a fps gamer.... that "fluid" gameplay is what your after.
To me, Bigger maps promote "camping" and slow gameplay which = boring
I dont care how many structures break down.
Mw is by far the best fps mp expierence.
Thats why they took mw and upgraded the engine added new features and made a sequel
Thats what fps gamers want...
