 Questions On: Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride

okay...how much of this should i take to trip HARD...iv got the house to myself tonite and i dont have any shrooms or weed...iv done a test run on this starting from 10 pills leading up to 17 with little to no success...so whats the flat dose i should take? the ones i took befor were Benadryl 25 mg...the ones i have now are Kaiser Permanente 50 mg... iv heard that hitting 500 mg can kill you...if not, what can? and how much will make me fucked up without killing me?

i am 18  and iv already looked on erowid and the dose i took was 425...im worried to go over 500 and iv used this site(and all of its awesomeness) to help me alot with identifying mushrooms and such so i thought i could get a reliable dosage answer from you guys...

Back in my reckless teenage days I fucked around with diph.
800mg's have given me real hallucinations, i.e. being unable to distinguish the fact that there's nothing odd about for some reason I'm walking down the block with 4 of my buddies I haven't seen in months and every now and then they'll magically vaporize into dust, and eventually I found out that smacking them across the face makes their heads fall off, pretty sweet; thousands of golf-ball sized fuzzy spiders will scuttle around and I was pretty sure that my girlfriend was chilling with me in that parking lot at 4:32AM when she's suppoosed to be home asleep - ah, nevermind, it's just a broken vacuum. Nothing out of the ordinary, of course.
Interesting experiment. Except for the fact I felt completely zombified for the next few weeks and unable to say anything besides "Hm.." or "Oh..." and I literally felt no emotions. Actually, diph can really shorten your temper, you'll get fucking pissed at the most trivial things for the days after.
Diph is interesting to try, but overall a shitty drug. Plus the unknown but certain damage you'll be doing to your liver isn't worth it. And after using diph, the effects of other drugs dramatically decreases, IME.

it is interesting. i fucked around all the way to the hospital once on 900mg 
i had a stint in highschool where i would say i was actually addicted to the stuff. didn't last long though. i built a tolerance to the point where 600mg barely did anything

That shit is so easy to get addicted to. Those little bottles with 100 pills, all as small as a fingernail? Fuckin' forget about it.
I will say though, that in doses of 125mg-200mg + weed = exceptional music euphoria, and I notice the nature of my dreams gets pretty wacky even when I take the recommended 25-50mg before bed dose.

I'm really not one to advocate this but to be perfectly honest DXM would be a much better alternative to diphenhydramine, assuming you can stomach it.

No, literally if I took anything else (in that period of time I also used DXM and LSA) I noticed that I wasn't getting as strong effects as before and in the case of DXM it was as if the magic suddenly disappeared, this coinciding with my heavy diph usage. I guess I fucked my brain chemistry up and it just blocked off whatever regulates what gives me certain effects from them. I've also read before similar reports of people who notice that other drugs stop working to an extent after using diph. Things are pretty normal now but I can't help but feel that the residual diph effects linger in my system, hell if I take 25mg my visual static/HPPD will get pretty intensified (alot of shimmering, flickering, etc.) after 20 minutes if I stay up, JUST from 25mg.
