i have faint closed eye visuals that get stronger if i focus on them to a much higher degree than when I'm sober.
I've tried when sober and when high, so I know what I'm talking about.
and it's changed my perception completely and made me have delusions.

That sounds like a combination of sleep deprivation and being really stoned. I've heard of people tripping for sleep deprivation. Your mind takes micro-naps. You dream while you're still awake.
That is quite interesting. I had that happen to me 5 years back, when me and my friend were up for nearly 48 hours. Like you mentioned, I was 'dreaming while awake', and I LOVED it, haha.

I get extream CEV's and reasonable OEV's.
Try this, take a huuuuge rip from a bong Then after the rip, wait until it peaks and put pressure on your eyes with your fingers, and watch the trippy shit happening, its cool. (warning! If stupid, do not try! eye dammage may occur!)
these days, i dont enjoy only smoking enough to get high, i like to trip ballz on the stuff. but i only get high once a week if that
