Desiring young, hot, women as in your avatar, is very much a materialistic practice. :failboat:

Ha I don't recall saying I desired them. Perhaps I am just admiring the picture for its artistic reflection on the human body, a vessel of life that reflects the mystery of the universe.
:maximumtrolling:
But seriously you have a valid point. Most of us will never be free from desire. But it is good to minimize our need for things that pollute our air and support the labor of sweat shop workers.:awesomenod:
I  don't believe lusting for a women is directly destroying our ecosystem like our need for oil and cars are IMHO.

In what ways are we destroying our ecosystems?

Are you serious? I don't know maybe you are just asking, overfishing for a start, we've chopped down a ton of woodland, there are holes in the ozone layer and the scientific consesus is that we are changing our climate.

And the population keeps growing geometrically. A destroyed eco-system results in a population decrease. This is obvious and self-explanatory.

Those things you listed seem to be pretty mild. They have practically no observed effect on my existence.

We are part of nature and nature has the tendency to restructure itself. It is us humans who apply the subjective distinctions such as "good" and "bad" to these events.

Mother Nature isn't much of a conservationist. Disagree? Ask the dinosaurs how they're doing.

Of course, but he said "our" ecosystem.

it's kind of cute
I did not hear the words
so I don't know what the message is
visually however there is some tantalizing spiritual materialism presented against some tantalizing sexual imagery and a non-tantalizing dessert and non-tantalizing old guy hunched with bad posture.

I would prefer better integration of tantalizing images
i.e. morph the sexy girl into a vajra dakini and loose the hippie speaking stoned platitudes.

of course that may be a different message than intended.

personally I do not see sex as separate from spirituality, and I don't think our spiritual models should not be hunched over.

good effort all in all.

The animal population is decreasing. Many species are going extinct, such as the polar bear and panda.
Our rainforests are being cut down very fast. The amazon is loosing 5800 square miles per year.
If you don't believe me google it yourself.

The population will continue to rise until it exhausts its resources. So I guess you were on the right track:pipesmoke:

Thanks glad you got something out of it... I practice tantric sex myself with my girlfriend so I don't see sex at all as seperate, but I also honor the path the celibacy that the cave yogis have, giving up such things as sex and eating desert.
