I found these in the cascades on August 31st, 2 days after the thunder storm.

anywhere there is trees man! North Van comes to mind. up by the water treatment plant looked like a wicked place to hunt.

Hey cool, it looks like you found some Blewits! Those purple mushrooms looks to me like Clitocybe nuda - aka a Blewit. I have actually yet to find them myself, but I hear they are tasty. The spore print should be a pink color. Welcome to the boards! :cheers:

Damn Psylo! Nice variety for this early in the year. Those are nice chants Oreganic. I have two more weeks of work until i have 3 months dedicated to hunting... I can't wait! Your finds are getting me excited guys.

ive been blessed to have some really good ones under my belt already this season !!

heres a small Hericeum i harvested this morning. it hasnt grown much in a week and the weather calls for 2 more weeks of heat so i figured if i am going to try it, it might as well be some perfect young specimens. :thumbup:

once i get some rain, this friggin log is going to BLOW up!! :headbanger:
