well ive got a bunch of pins starting up now. check back to the original post for pictures.

got lots of side pinning, but im not too worried about it. it looks like theyre growing straight up, so i wont have a problem with them.

cant wait till next week!!!

my WBS takes freaking forever, altho penis envy i hear is slow in all aspects.
where did you acquire your berries and what tek did you use to prep them?

BTW just updated with a few more pics of pins. a few days from now i think ill have a bunch more pins and full mushrooms :smile:

the burmas are definitely taking off.

i grew them once 2 years ago and i used the same spores to grow this time. i did them on PF cakes the first time and they were slow colonizers and mutated weird mushrooms. this time, there is a shitload of pins started :smile:

So, basically, rinse, soak for 24, drain for...how long did you drain it in the sink for to dry?

rinse, soak for 12-24, drain, put into pots with fresh water and bring to a rolling boil for 10 minutes, turn the heat off, and dump into a colander in the sink with cold water running for the pipes. let the water evaporate and the rye berries cool and dry off a little bit, then put it in jars.

update! got some pretty cool pictures. harvested quite a few mushrooms today, and will tomorrow, and probably over the course of the next few days.

Are you doing AA+ for your Albinos? I did those recently with a couple of others in over saturated substrate. They did take longer than my others but the results were well worth waiting for. I'm going to continue playing with them as my friends really liked them and so do I. I bet you'll end up getting surprised quite nicely!

PF Albino. im starting to see a lot of tiny pins starting, i have 1 decent sized pin in there right now.

i harvested some more golden teachers. they were pretty big. they look so cool both wet and dry. i cant wait to try them :smile:

first 7 tubs went through their first flush. i got 3 ounces off the small burma tub. very surprised i was able to pull that much from that small of a tub. had a few big mushrooms in there, some of which weight 3 grams a piece dry, and around 6 inches long. so far i have 15 ounces of dry golden teachers with probably another ounce in the dehydrator.

2 of the slow GT tubs are just now starting to fruit, and there are quite a few pretty big mushrooms popping up in them. the pf albino tub is also starting to pin, but the mushrooms dont seem to be getting very big, they're short and fat. no taller than 3 cm. hopefully i get some normal sized ones off that tub.

bump

updated the log. on the second flush. way more mushrooms than the first flush. i have 2 dehydrators packed full of mushrooms way more to be picked once these are dried. same pics i just posted in that new thread, figured id add that to my grow log.

enjoy. cant wait to get back with the final dry weight and pictures for this second flush. im thinking between 1 and 2 pounds.

hey nice work bro looks real good...was wondering if u could say how u did ur lids for the quart jars...and if u noticed the plastic lining naround the whole room helping at all against contamns...u think it wood b a good idea to do that if there a carpet in there? thx for the help if u could answer:)

lol nevermind i found the answer on page 2...but where do u nock up straight thru the polyfil? or do u just try to squeeze it in by the polyfil and the lid
