an ok vape is about the same price as an ok bong? tastes SO much better, and conserves weed. way easier on the lungs.

Some people say they get a different high. I agree, the high is berift of the effects of asphysication and does not have a headache or paranoia component.

TBH I love vaping but then again I love doing smoke tricks with a bowl. Even though I can easily get baked off .05G in a vape vs .2g in a bowl.
Vaping is much safer also no carcinogens in your lungs

dunno, have used some really good vaporizers (volcano yadda)... and though the quality of the vaporizer does make a big difference.... even with the best, they all always seems to leave me just a little bit wanting.... it's quite possible i may just actually be addicted to smoke

good vaporizers are expensive so maybe thats why, personally i would love a iolite for going out and a volcano for home.

I Love my launchbox, it really kicks ass. I turn down pipes now, not because of elitism, but because I tried once and the nasty ass taste that full on smoke leaves in my mouth is horrid in comparison. But I think I can sympathize with pipe/bong culture, I dig the art of it, and the homey vibe. Alas, IMO vape is the way of the future.

You can vape in a movie theater and it won't smell like ganja. I was smoking "tobacco" in the basement of my aunts house at a xmas party with my cousin and no one even noticed it and they were in the other room. My aunt mentioned smelling smoke but she assumed it was cigs

my vaporbros has made me so happy, I don't even care to try any thing else. I was a paraphenilia buying fool until I got the vape, never baught a single peice sense.

It'd be hilarious if one day people started vaping tobacco.

I got an Arizer Extreme Q with a bag and whip attachment. I like it but rarely ever use it. Just seems like a hassle to have to preheat it every time. My whip and bags taste like vaped bud too so a nice glass piece seems better at the moment. Not sure how to get the smell out of the whip really, the bag just needs replaced with an oven bag. I think alcohol might ruin the tube and a long hot water soak/rinse didn't do all that much for the taste.
I will agree that using a vaporizer does seem to be a little more cost effective though.

Considering I see people all the time with 80 dollar or more bongs (sick
bongs... but still) I don't really know. I have noticed that in a lot of
smoke shops around here anyway there is just a massive selection of pipes
and bongs, and usually few or no vaps. So combination of
availability/aesthetics/smoke appeal?
