Prove death anxiety.
    #13999982 - 02/21/11 10:40 AM (2 years, 2 months ago)

When I ponder death I don't do it with anxiety, I do it with a sorta imaginative philosophy and play  with certain thought provoking "what ifs"..

While you sit at your cosy computer snug as a bug in your little fantasy.

Read Ernest Becker's book Denial of Death.  It's all there if you dare. (I made a rhyme:grin:)

So this book is going to give me, "death anxiety".. If it does why would I read it. Who wants death anxiety anyway?

My question for you is, are you seriously old enough to post here?

You haven't answered my question.

Why would I want to fill my head with death anxiety?

Dude, i've been here since 2000, it's right there by name.

What are you getting from trying to insult me?

I'm doing cartwheels around your death anxiety.

I'm not trying to insult you. I'm trying to find out why your posts seem so weak?  My last partners 11 year old was trying to post here a few years ago and I had to stop him. His posts however were imo much more thought out and consistent than yours.

The question you asked, Droz, is rather ridiculous. You cannot completely "prove" that death anxiety is there if it's being repressed and ignored.

How would you know if it were being repressed? Saying when I get older i'm going to start to get anxiety in the form of thoughts of death?

I'm not old yet and from my standpoint I don't see any "death anxiety".

LMFAO! You can't make me leave i'll post here if I feel I have thoughts to share.

I'm defintely pushing your buttons, who else would blatantly come out and tell me he wants me to leave.

I broke you.

I'm not saying I can make you leave. You asked a question and I gave an honest answer.  My reasons are that I think your posting here is not a benefit to this forum and it's function as a debate forum. It's nothing personal. I've made it a goal to move many posters out of this forum and you'd be surprised at my success rate.  However I never "made" anyone leave.  That's just silly now isn't it?  As to you having "broke" me that's unlikely. If I ever felt really broken I'd kill myself and as you can see I'm here posting and having a good old time like I usually do.  I can tell you're upset with me but that's not my problem. Actually it's part of the entertainment I derive from posting here. However if I had great respect for your posting and debate skills here I might be  concerned that you were upset with me.
