Any other bluegrass fans out there? I've been listening to more and more the last couple of years, full credit to Old Crow Medicine Show for re-igniting my passion for this amazing music.
I'm into OCMS, Flatt/Scruggs, Roscoe Holcomb, Yonder Mountain String Band etc, anyone got any other good bands in the same vein I should check out?
Been playing the blues harp for a few months and need more shit to jam along to!

I've never been a fan of Yonder. it seems pre-packaged
OCMS's last album was wayyy too mainstream/country for my tastes.
Download Clarence Ashley & Doc Watson Smithsonian Folkways collection. You will never regret it. It is as real as Appalachian/Southern music gets. Also Bill Monroe, he invented the genre. So get some of his stuff.

Got some Bill Monroe and plenty of Doc Watson! Will check out that recording though as I'm unfamiliar.
If ekoostic hookah is on Demonoid I'll have it 5!
Thanks guys, keep em coming. In terms of OCMS I like Troubles up and Down the Road (ep) and Big Iron World the most. These guys can really play.
Anyone who likes this stuff definitely check out Roscoe Holcomb "The High Lonesome Sound", really beautiful. Been listening to it all day.

Been listening to Norman Blake - "Whiskey Before Breakfast" all week. Kind of the folk end of bluegrass, but really nice. Check it out.

Roscoe Holcomb - The High Lonesome Sound. This is one of the best records I've ever heard. Several pure vocal tracks, just awesome.

David Grisman Quintet: Self-titled album

Awesome Bluegrass-Jazz Fusion with Tony Rice on guitar
Also check out Grisman's later work with Jerry Garcia "The Pizza Tapes"
*Doc Watson is one hell of a picker, too
