How about giving a little credit where credit is due? That would be nice instead of just jacking my photos and text with no reference to their origin.
Could have PM'd me to ask first, too, ya know. That would have been a simple courtesy. Didn't you stop to think that I might have an interest in just how "far and wide" this tek is published, and by whom?
I've been wrestling a long time with the consequences of having posted this to begin with. Frankly, I'm more than a little irate. What nerve! You steal my images and text, change the format and publish them on a site outside of the shroomery where any underage stupid ass can have access???

its not like you created the STB tek nature boy, you put up a picture tutorial to a guide that was already around for a while. are you really upset that someone used your photographs which you posted on the internet for all to see? because i know you don't deserve credit for the tek itself, with all due respect. besides you put up the photos to make a simple guide for other's to use, is that not exactly what the OP did, no one is "stealing credit" here.

I thought I was clear on this: The Shroomery community was to be the beneficiary of the tek. Having affirmatively sought out and JOINED a drug related forum, the members here are present and participating in these discussions and sharing information specific to that purpose. Members of the Shroomery are (at least supposed) to be guaranteed to be of a certain age, and are here for THAT purpose. By taking the information and posting it off-site, all those guarantees are lost. Any damned fool of any age gains access. NOT what I intended when I documented the tek and made the extraction process so easily accessible.
Furthermore, I have often and deeply questioned whether to remove the tek over concerns that far too many folks have been enabled just via THIS forum alone. I never dreamed the original thread would get so many thousands of hits and go on for so long. I almost regret it now. Can you understand that??
While the information is not my own, the photos and words ARE. To jack that material without asking permission is plagiarism. The OP, if he so desires, can write his own tek and take his own pictures and use them to his hearts content. To that I would have absolutely no objection. As it is, I VEHEMENTLY object to the theft.
Finally - and to illustrate the sincerity of my concern, I have written to one of the moderators asking for guidance and assistance in resolving this situation. I await their response, and that of the OP.

Interesting response, Nature Boy. I figured you would enjoy an easier-to-use system for the tek but I was clearly wrong. I put it together so that the information is easier to process and to follow, for personal reasons.
I'll keep it personal, Nature Boy, if that's how you feel. I was simply sharing the simplified step by step version because I believe that many other people would appreciate more guides put into this simple format.

Thank you for your kind and measured response. I'm not trying to be a dick. Clearly, you and others were entirely unaware of the moral dilemma I've been experiencing over the unexpected and wholly unanticipated popularity of the STB thread. Not your fault!
Never in my wildest dream did I think at the outset that so many folks would gain access to DMT via the STB tek. Naturally, I feel some responsibility for those who have abused and exploited the tek for monetary gain by selling DMT, and for those who have had untoward, frightening experiences with the substance.
I comforted myself and to a degree justified allowing the tek to continue in spite of these relatively rare occurrences by reminding myself that Shroomery members came to the Shroomery seeking these abilities and experiences knowing the risks - but at least those persons also had the benefit of access to the experiences and advice of other Shroomery members to guide them and help prevent bad mistkes.
I can anticipate that a "stand alone" version of the STB, devoid of the sound advice and support of Shroomery members stands a MUCH higher chance of doing more harm than good...hence my concern and objection.
Thank you for your kind offer to remove the graphical version. It would be my hearts desire that you do so. I understand fully that you could not have possibly guessed my feelings cited above, but I do thank you for being sensitive to them now that you are aware.

Other than information roaming free, this has a deeper impact than we thought on N.B.
It has nothing to do with the reproduced information, for that is free, but it does has something to do with something deeper for N.B. I will respect that and keep the condensed pictorial out of publics eye.
I believe in free information, but not at the cost of another's expense.

The internet makes it easy for non-copyrighted and copyrighted material alike to be taken and distributed without permission.
I am not siding with N.B. but he is correct, this act is plagiarism.
You say it is something 'deeper'. You're correct, many people would be outraged or offended if their work, be it photographs or text, is taken without permission.

yeah he should get credit for the photos but overall is a crybaby. OP just needs to grab some new photos from nexus that have a water mark on them or ask permission. its to late to ask nature boy as his panties are to far knotted and I think is just to upset someone else did a better job with his pics and wants is gone. You can not steal a person thunder who is like that. If I put pics up like that I would be fine with them being used for anything but representation of a product for sale.

Same here. I believe that when you post something on the internet you're donating that information to the internet. If someone used my photos like that I would be happy not defensive though a credit to Nature Boy should of been included. The more people psychedelic information reaches the better.

Good morning all:
OutThisLife and I have enjoyed a very respectful, private dialog on this issue and have come to an mutual understanding, for which I am very grateful. He is a true gentleman, and I'd like to say that publicly.
For those who have merely skimmed over the posts, let me just say that I doubt many (or even any) of you know much about me, who I am, how I came to be here, and why I choose to chime in on this forum above all others from time to time. I'll be as brief as possible.
I'm way older than the vast majority of you...far into my 50's. I'm a cancer survivor X2. I came here because after many years, I found myself needing and searching for a spiritual practice and regretting how many decades I had spent without one when it came down to needing one. Without going into the long version - I was blessed to fall into a Buddhist practice, and also found there were certain ways to make better and faster progress in that practice through the judicious use of psychedelic tryptamines. I feel like I've been able to make tremendous and necessary strides in my practice given my health situation, and the STB tek at issue here was published on this forum by me at a time when I was most optimistic about its value to me personally.
Unfortunately, I underestimated how others, NOT in my situation, would utilize this tek, and for quite some time I have agonized over having provided it for those, and other reasons. I worry also about people having accidents with the NaOH, as well as the final product.
I took some solace in the fact that Shroomery members were screened for age and affirmatively became members seeking psychedelic experiences. I discovered this was a helpful, friendly, community, and relied on YOU to keep each other safe and well-informed...and you have performed this task admirably.
Taken out of this environment, the STB tek information looses its greatest ally...YOU FOLKS!!! I can't and won't always be here to monitor the joys and travails that result from the STB tek's publication. That's a sad fact. But as long as the Shroomery community is here, its a much better bet that the tek will see more positive use than negative.
This is where I stand. Flame away if you must, but remember I love and respect you all and all of your diverse opinions. I hope you will offer to me the same courtesy in response, as OutThisLife has in this particular instance.
