well when its the season ill be going off to stay at a relatives' farm. they have 180+ acres of cow pasture.

I DROVE 50 MILES FOR THIS!!! I'm just playing. Again, I dont have clue. It is so tiny. I'm just happy to find any mushroom. My wife says the mushrooms have drove me crazy. I wish I would have got into hunting shrooms a long time ago. It sucks the temps are dropping. Peace.

Yeah, they are pretty cool. I took that turd and put in my veggie pro, it had alot of pins all over it. I just wanted to see if that could work. I'll take a pic of the set-up. Everything I find is on my own land, thanks to the horses and all the round hay bells they eat. I have found so many pan ants, so I'm hoping to get some good stuff soon. Peace.

Horses produse man,I had a spot down in W Jupiter where a family with horses piled what they mucked out of the stalls BEHIND their barn.PERFECT spot. I could cut across the vacant lot behind it,from the next road and pick Winn Dixie bagfulls of awesome Cyanes..

I don't want to sound dumb, but why grow inactive,non edible mushrooms? There cool none the less, but I wouldn't waste time with them.

The fungi gods tell me to do so many strange things... Like, "Brew apple cider, but do not drink it."
Or, "Bring home a magnitude of unprocessed manure, and let the inky caps run rampant..."
And my personal favorite request of the fungi gods - "Salivate for my medicine but DO NOT INDULGE." Incidentally after choosing not to, many of the benefits I reaped from the mushroom before kinda just came naturally.. Go figure.
And yeah though.. It should be admitted that the mush is a pretty obsessive hobby lol about as much or equal to what most dedicated Christians dedicate to God

Welcome to Shroomery! I recommend Google Earthing some cow pastures and waiting for the rain. Head out 24-72 hours after the rain and wander around looking for what look like little gold nipples poking out of the grass. You can't miss 'em! Though I mostly find Cubes, you can find a few Cyans with some luck. Good luck! Post many pictures of your finds and make sure you take your camera to the field for nature pics. Those are preferred over pics of mushies laying all over a table.
