I've been in love with the same girl since I was 13 - I'm now 23.
I was with her for a while when I was 13-14. That ended over typical teenage grounds. I've been with other girls in the meantime, but never a relationship; I've had no desire to. She's been with many guys, a couple of which were lengthy stints. Her current bloke she has been with for 4 and a half years. They've bought a house together and are seemingly ready for the long haul.
At times it breaks my heart, but I've learned to live with the situation. She is one of, if not the best friend I've ever had. Has been for the last 10 years. That friendship will never dwindle. As much as I'd like it to go further, I'm grateful for the friendship we do have.
