yea the term "40 bud" was used allot in the small town where I went to college. Funny thing is I knew ppl that called regs "40 bud" but their were others who referred to really good usually seedless mids as "40 bud" because it was forty an eighth.

I have done many a psychedelic in my lifetime, and have smoked weed for about 6 years, at times daily for several years on end.
But once I smoked an entire joint in one single toke using a gravity bong, filling up a liter coke bottle with incredibly dense marijuana smoke. After inhaling it, choking, and exhaling I stood up, almost lost my balance, and hurried to the toilet. I knew I was gonna need complete isolation to deal with this shit.
I can honestly say, and I don't care whether you believe it or not, I was tripping balls for over an hour.
I got vivid open eyed visuals of patterns everywhere, and extremely colourful closed eyed visuals. And the mindfuck was incredible.
At one point I noticed that if I thought of the name of the colour, verbally in my mind, without any effort my visuals would change to that colour. Say, for example, I thought of "ocre yellow", and in my state of mind I couldn't for the life of it think of what it looked like, my visuals however would instantaneously turn an undeniable ocre yellow. I tried and tested this numerous times, with the wackiest colours I could think of and it worked every single time, quicker than I could possibly consciously think.
This is just one particular aspect of my experience, but I found it particularly interesting, cause it has taught me something about my brain, and how unconcious thought processes occur.
I can do that too after smoking a shit ton or doing anything that gives me visuals. I learned how after one of my first LSD trips and it never left my mind. I used to be able to form my visuals into whatever I wanted to see too, but that talent has left me for the most part.
