It is expected to pass if people show up to the polls... Especially younger voters. That is why the Feds are getting involved now. It isn't like they can say don't go and vote at the polls....

drugs should be legal, there would be alot less heroin deaths if they have the kind of programs they have over in europe. I think its Switzerland that actually dispenses heroin to users.
about the plant thing, my point is, most things have a plant bases orgin including the really bad shit. when people say "its just a plant that grows in dirt why should it be legal/its not a drug" I always  because its really just a statement and not a point or real argument.

Drugs should be legal, i dont understsand why they are not legal. Doesnt make ANY sense.
We would live in such a better world if we could decide what we could eat and not eat. And more people wouldnt do drugs because people wouldnt be rebelling.

I'm not trying to say there's some "shadow government" at work, but this is simply how politics operates.
The only people who have a shot at gaining the seats of power are rigorously selected to be in agreement with the prevailing ideology.
The prevailing ideology includes a prejudice against drug use, so therefore every politician who could conceivably become president must be in line with that position.

He has some sort of say in things ... but it is silly the way everyone blames every single little fucking problem in the whole country on the president - and I'm not defending him I think hes a hypocritical piece of shit too but there is far more going on behind the scenes responsible for the current state of things and alot that isn't even behind the scenes no one pays attention to.

He has some say, but only because it was given to him by the existing structure ... which gave it to him precisely because he had the highest likelihood of agreeing with the existing structure.
So even though someone in his position could conceivably really change things up and do a lot of good, it is impossible to acquire the position if that is your intent.

And that is very likely so - Very few presidents have displayed actions which would suggest that they are solely acting in the greater interest of the country and the citizens who elected them.

Think of an election as a selection process, much like natural selection.
Selection favors "electability."
What governs electability? Two things: party support and campaign contributions.
Campaign contributions (the important ones) come from the same military/industrial/economic complex that supports the status quo.
Party support is given to candidates who support the ideology of the party ... and the ideology of both parties is heavily biased towards support of the status quo.
Therefore, the candidate who makes it through this selection process will be the one most likely to uphold the status quo.
Pretty simple, really.

So then how do you explain primaries where the people vote for who they want to represent the party? And as for funding, how about all the money Obama received from ordinary citizens?
